Breathes: Breathes atmosphere comparable to humans. Home atmosphere has less oxygen than humans are used to. It can take time for an Daethiril to get use to a foreign world.
Strengths
-They have a very strong resistance to the force. Using it to lessen the chance to getting beaten by the users. Plus, they gain a slight power to call darkness to themselves with force magic.
-They have a long live span, allowing them to master whatever skill they choose.
-They have a absolute defense towards sickness and disease, even going as far to purging toxins that enter there bodies. Living in caves and under ground had increased there chances of survival.
-They are more prone to chaotic side of life, treat themselves as a business. Embracing trade, technology, but will flip the table for a better source of income or chance comes to the table.
-The Verin posses great negation skills, Intelligence, along with the abilities of a skilled Assassins for a deal gone wrong.
- They have great strength, compared to human's living off a higher gravity planet. Growing up in the mountains, caves and underground had given them time to toughen up.
Weaknesses:
-There price of Resistance, comes that only very few of there race gain force powers. Those chosen are considered the cream of the crop and are given the important duties.
-The race has very little females, because of there rebellion towards the Matriarchy of another race called the Liedons. They had left to a different planet and still have an imbalance favoring towards males. Seventy to thirty is what is about now.
-Because of there upbringing, they had grown into a fierce race of talented trade. They consider themselves better than there most races, they like more options and act charming like a snake before they strike.
-They have similar eating habits, but more reserved by surviving longer than there counterparts. Of course only slightly, by surviving for about two humans amount of food. Still they need to consume a hefty amount of food to keep themselves from starving.
-They have a high sensitivity to light, that can blind them for a short period of time with too much exposure without protection.

Culture: Once they were a Matriarchy on the planet, but one Leidons male had decided to rise against the Queen. Verin'Kae raised a rebellion of his peers and few hundred women that had wanted to take over. Yet, because of the Queen's loyal subjects had crushed the revolt. Before the final blow was struck, the remaining rioters had escaped the planet along with there leader. The man known as the King of the shadows of Space, once they landed on some random planet.
They have taken a different source of government, that of a monarchy. The king holding the true power of the nation, leading them to a new tomorrow. They follow codes and among the houses of the race. They have nobles, merchants, workers and serfs that are trained to unite the race together. One nation that works together to become bigger and stronger is the goal the Daethiril, overtime it had expanded from nothing into a growing society.
There religion follow the way of self learning, to believe that space has ancients that created and expanded from something. Discovery is a key point of there learning and improving from nothing is there way of life. The only real following of the person is something called Mask, what is to be believed to be the source of all the shadows in the universe.

General behavior: They always look to gain knowledge, they are underhanded, smart and proud of there uprising. They are always calm under pressure and never give into threats. When they meet with foreigners, they can greet them with respect and brings them in as honored guests. They are usually bipolar, happy one moment and angry the next depending on the situation. They consider the idea of controlling men through a Matriarchy are the bane of there existence. They also embrace new tech and want to learn the methods of producing them.
History
They had a rough life in history, once they were taken down by an enemy called the Evoknights. A race bent on destruction, the Leidons had fought the beasts but had utterly failed in saving themselves. Placing the race under there command, overtime they had stopped there reign in the universe but the females of the race had taken over. Starting to force men to follow her, many did but one stood up against the reign. Speaking that she was like the Evoknights and was accused to be a traitor. He fought for the cause, leaving the planet to be divided and soon enough the battle erupted for the people. Despite the cause, the evoknights had supported the females leading to the resistance to be defeated.
They were exiled from there home world and went off into space to die off. It was than they had traveled through space with little food, many dying before they had landed on a planet out of sheer luck. The few hundred's that had survived had started to make camp, sadly as time went on. They were picked off by the creatures that inhabited the planet, the gravity was more than what they were use too and slowly they were getting smaller in numbers. Yet, the leader of the revolution had made changes by himself. The strongest of the race had started to adapt, after months of fending on the planet. Growing stronger, they had traveled to a better location of a mountain that held a cave within it.
What was strange about it, was that it dug underneath the planet. Tunnels that went on for eons, they had made it a home. Eating mushrooms that grew within the mountains, before they were finally able to expand. Growing in numbers, they had found routes to use to get around and hunt the creatures. It only grew from there, soon creating cities underground they were able to expand throughout the planet. Water was found within the mountain as well, having some sort of spring underneath the planet. The planet was filled with about forty percent water, the other parts was purely mountains, grasslands and some forests.
This is the story of how the adaption of the race came to be and evolution of a rising nation that will soon come into fruition. The texts have no date of the log, once they had left there planet and the rest of the race. Time passed, as the rule of Verin'Kae was coming to a close. The once Leidons were not them anymore. They were there own race, the Verin'Daethiril and his son was to be raised to be the next great leader. It wasn't long before the planet was founded by Bakura, where they invested in the planet and species. The Verineon had advanced with the help of the planet and it's trade route. Verin had become quick learners and went off into the universe, learning the trade of negations and modernizing the planet to it's ever expanding horizon today.

Intent: To create an interesting new race of elf's that come from an unknown place in the universe. Plus, I like Drow's in DND...so yeah, going to give people more choices if they wish to use the race as well. I hope this is fine! Plus this is my first attempt.
