A single piece of fabric twisted about the body which when folded or draped in a particular design can create a short tunic with a hood, a cape to provide a limited amount of protection for the wearer and a stylish accessory. Claire upon visiting with a few Jedi Orders across the galaxy began to see an opportunity to create something more modern and pleasing to the form. But still it had to be useful not just pleasing.
As she researched the history of Jedi apparel she realized that another application would be stealth. Shadowsilk offers the ability to absorb light and dampen sounds made by contact with the material. The Jedi that she worked with on Kuat gave her the idea as she watched them work.
Spider Shell Silk provides the ability to deflect vibro blades and blaster bolts.
Shadowsilk though flat black in color could have some artistic embellisments added to add a flair.
Memetic was the real find it blended with its background. Never had she had fabric that disappeared this she felt would be the third option for anyone purchasing the tunic. A cape could be made with any of the materials on one side, and then the other given a shimmer silk layer. This versatility would allow the wearer to either be fashion forward by revealing only the shimmer silk side, or use the protection and properties of the other side.
She had tried to weave the fabrics together but the effects became weaker so she went back to designing a complete outfit from the material.
Spider Shell Silk would be white, Shadowsilk would be black, and the memetic would be displayed with a brown undershirt to make it appear brown color can be altered by wearer.
A customer could buy leggings, which Contessa also offers, of one cloth, tunic of another for mix and match. Designs can be altered for men or women.
