Aside looking awesome, do wood cased lightsabers hold any specific perks and advantages? That's all xD

I would think that a wood-casing on a lightsaber would be less-than ideal, but then again I would say the same thing about holding a metal encased plasma rod. In short, no.

Special Brylark wood casing around a metal hilt would be ok I think. Not sure on pros and cons. I would think it'd be nice and smooth to grip, possibly cooler to the touch also? And cons...make sure the wood doesn't burn up in your hand with the lightsaber blade!

I don't know how you saw his post before it was posted, that's some scary stuff, but the factory is entirely optional. You don't need a submission for a lightsaber, color coded or not, but if you do then it won't provide any issues either.

This is another type of wood that could be used, however, doesn't contain different properties beyond strength.
