In Umbris Potestas Est
Prior to the escape of
Romi Jade
from Tython
The shadow of Onrai flittered through the remnants of the temple. The sacrifice of Pietro had been a powerful ritual, yet to her, it felt hollow. The man was a fanatic and acting as though his sacrifice would change things for the light felt... silly, perhaps? The taint of the Force Nexus in the temple complex certainly added a unique flavor to the traces of energy she had yet consumed, but in the end, little had ultimately changed. The New Jedi Order would inevitably engage in reactionary activity to the conquest - and would fight tooth and nail to defend it.
Hunting through chambers, she crept along walls and around barricades, her presence somewhat diminished by the otherwise overpowering sense of the Dark Side. She drew minimally, though she was sure her ever-closer traverse would be sensed by the Jedi in question. She was unsure of what interrogations that Romi had been put through courtesy of Solipsis, or perhaps some other interrogator within the midst, but now was the time to strike, now that the woman's will had withered courtesy of what she had been forced to observe.
So it was that as she finally entered the room where Romi had been kept, she said nothing, milky eyes contrasting her shadowed exterior as she merely sought to observe the Jedi's reaction.
