HISTORY
Early Years – A Jedi Born to Silence

Veythun's origins remain a mystery to most, though those who have walked with him long enough know he was once a child of the Outer Rim, raised in the shadows of forgotten warzones. He was discovered by the Jedi as an infant, found in the ruins of a city razed by Sith forces. He is a Celegian, a rare telepathic species who exist in gaseous environments, and from his earliest days, he had no need for speech.

Among the Jedi, he was seen as an oddity. Unlike his peers, he did not speak aloud, communicating instead through the Force. His telepathic mind was vast and analytical, and his connection to the Force was strong—yet his training was complicated. Masters struggled to understand him, and his fellow Padawans often viewed his silent presence as unsettling. Despite this, he excelled in mental discipline, endurance, and combat, quickly mastering Force techniques that resisted outside influence.

The Jedi Knight of the Lost Wars
Veythun became a Jedi Knight during a time of crisis. The galaxy was fracturing, and Jedi were being forced into battle across countless worlds. Rather than being stationed in the Core, he was sent to the frontier, where war raged between the Sith and the free worlds resisting their rule.

By the time he was thirty standard years old, he had faced and defeated multiple Sith Lords, not through brute force, but by turning their own darkness against them. Many attempted to corrupt him, but none succeeded. He was already beyond their reach.

The Betrayal and the Ronin's Path
At the height of the war, Veythun's faith in the Jedi Order began to wane. He saw Jedi generals leading armies, making decisions that blurred the line between warriors and warlords. He saw Jedi councils debating politics instead of justice. He saw Jedi Knights being corrupted not by the Sith, but by their own thirst for victory.

The final fracture came when a Jedi-led strike force ordered an orbital bombardment of a Sith-occupied planet—one that still had innocent civilians on it. Veythun tried to stop it. He was ignored.

Disillusioned, he cast aside his rank, refusing to serve an Order that could not distinguish between victory and justice. He became a Wayseeker, choosing his own path, operating outside the chain of command.

For years, he wandered—hunting Sith, aiding rebel cells, protecting Force-sensitive children, and seeking knowledge hidden by both Jedi and Sith alike. He never stopped being a Jedi, but he no longer served the Order.

The Jedi Coalition and the Burning Truth
Despite his rejection of the old ways, Veythun was eventually drawn to the Jedi Coalition of the Foundation, a new movement of Jedi who shared his belief that the Order must be free of rigid structures and politics. They saw what he had always known: the Jedi must act, but they must act with wisdom.

As a Jedi Ronin, Veythun operates as one of the Coalition's most elusive members. He refuses to hold a seat of power, refuses to command others, yet his name carries weight in the war. He is simply a Jedi—one who will fight, endure, and guide others until his path comes to an end.

STRENGTHS
He is a powerful telepath, relying on it for both his command of the Force, everyday survival, and in combat with the darkside of the Force. Additionally, he's a powerful empath, capable of relying on mentalism and feelings in order to fight his opponents.

WEAKNESSES
Like all Celegians, Veythun is allergic to oxygen. For this reason, he must travel in a specialized tank on most worlds. Any amount of oxygen is lethal to him. He is also incapable of engaging with others in a physical manner, forcing him to remain largely aloof.
