Vhe'viin Squad
Name: Vhe'viin Squad (Unit Insignia)
Intent: To create a small NPC squad (Originating from [member="Buruk Surhaai"]'s original hunting band.
Affiliation: [member="Buruk Surhaai"]
Availability: Unique
Quality: C - Trained
Type: Light Infantry.
Strength: 8 Individuals. Led by [member="Buruk Surhaai"]
Identified as V-1 through V-8. Leader designation is V-C (Vhe'viin Command[er])
Description: Vhe'viin Squad was formed when Buruk Sur'haai had returned from the address on Mandalore. There was to be a crusade. Buruk had returned, immediately gathering some of the veteran hunters and calling them in for a private conference. Here is where they would make their mark, here was their way to heed the call that Mand'alor had made. They began their training immediately, spending weeks improving their endurance and their physical condition. These men were not soldiers, they were hunters. As such their armor was light, their weapons following suit. Buruk taught them and trained them himself. They spent hour upon hour studying their history, famous battles and conflicts in Mandalorian history. By doing so they were able to learn battlefield strategy and take it into the forest as they trained. Buruk made note that having been already veteran hunters, they needed little help in understanding the value of mobility, preferring to practice guerrilla tactics and disruption over direct conflict. They spent some days sparring, others using melee weapons and even other still practicing their marksmanship. They weren't what you would consider elite troops, but in Buruk's eyes they had finished the training he could provide them. From here on out, they would have to be tested by battle alone. When it came to choosing a name for their small band of hunters, they juggled names like Skrill, Mythosaur, and Rawl. These were not fitting, for they were not combat troops, at least not a vanguard. Instead, Buruk suggested something different... "Vhe'viin". They would be sly, like the rodents of Mandalore. Cunning in their strategy and tenacious on the attack. They would hit the enemy and scurry away to strike again and again. Vhe'viin. That was a fitting name for them.
