The Viceroy-class Star Yacht is a luxury vessel designed by Arakyd Industries. As apart of its newest generation of starships, the corporation designed a yacht that epitomized quality and comfort whilst also demonstrating the strengths of Arakyd's existing technology. To begin, the Viceroy-class is, as a whole, a cousin to the Templar-class Light Freighter in numerous regards. The both share similarities in terms of hull composition, countermeasures, and armaments; with the key difference being the Viceroy-class' lack of missile launchers in favor of light blaster cannons. The scope of the ship is to provide the upper echelon of CIS personnel with a durable vessel with luxurious accommodations; that also boasts the ability to defend itself. While the Viceroy-class is not, by any stretch of the imagination, built for war, it's armament is such that it can defend itself against minor threats, such as pirates.
In terms of accommodations, the Viceroy-class Star Yacht comes standard with engines specifically designed to provide the smoothest ride possible. Furthermore, each Viceroy-class comes fully equipped with nine, diplomacy-grade dormitories that are specifically built in such a manner that foreign dignitaries would feel beyond comfortable using them. Within each dormitory are queen-sized beds, save for the Captain's Quarters that contains a King-sized bed, mahogany-carved furniture, and breathtaking viewports that afford the occupants within the best views possible. Each room also comes fully equipped with modern electronic devices, a full washroom, and even a stewardess on board to handle culinary requests and general care.
All in all, the Viceroy-class is poised to provide its owners with a safe and luxurious voyage to and from their various destinations throughout the Galaxy.
