BREAKING NEWS FROM SCARIF!
"Since the first reports of fighting on Scarif, anchors have anxiously awaited the inevitable announcement of victory on Scarif. Needless to say, our boys in white pulled through! The brave men and women of the Imperial Stormtrooper corps are hard at work detaining the surviving terrorists responsible for attempting to deny the system its well deserved Imperial justice, security, and peace.
According to detailed reports filed by ISB into the public domain today, Imperial troops encountered a fleet of what are officially being called 'Rebel Terrorists'. This 'Rebel' fleet had been bombarding the planet for hours in an attempt to not only destroy Imperial property on the planet but cover up their terrorist activity.
Unfortunately, the planet was heavily damaged before the Imperial fleet entered the system and brought a swift end to the vicious bombardment. While ISB cannot disclose direct details of the damage or the battle itself in order to maintain classified secrets of Imperial Military operation, they told IHNN that Imperial Stormtroopers were quickly deployed to the surface where they engaged rebels operating out of bunkers away from their fleets bombardment radius.
The ground forces of the Rebels were quickly dealt with after several orbital, precision bombardments that decimated their bunkers while brave stormtroopers pushed their terrorist warriors back. ISB is now investigating further into the Rebel operations, which they ensure will be dealt 'with swiftly and without mercy'
In recognition for their service, The Empire has awarded the brave men and women present at Scarif with these medals to forever remind them of the victory they brought The Empire this day.
