Was he a fool, perhaps he was. The way things had played out in his mind there wasn't anything else that could've been clearer then what he had just done. He only knew of two things, that his family was dead. The only family that he had as there were no other living relatives. Korvus knew that the Jedi were the cause of this, they took his family from him and now he was left in this world alone. The young boy had charged forward, despite not knowing any advance fighting techniques or advance training with the lightsaber blade.
The blue blade emitted from the hilt and Korvus began a series of erratic attacks towards one of the Jedi present. A solitary tear had been shed as he didn't know what else to do. The Jedi was deflecting his attacks with ease and from that moment it didn't take long for the Jedi to get a very quick shot against him. The blade cut through his right calf, he wouldn't lose a limb, but he did collapse on it and stumbled to the ground, his lightsaber leaving his hand as he tried to catch himself.
Korvus let out a grunt of pain as he turned to his saber which was several feet away from the ground knockdown. The young boy looked up as the Jedi he attacked was advancing on him, unsure of what the Jedi was going to do. Korvus scrambled as quickly as he could for his lightsaber blade and reached out to call it to him with the force. The blade began to go to him, however quickly diverted courses and went to the outstretched hand of the Jedi.
The two Jedi quickly grabbed him picked him up as one retrieved a set of cuffs and before long he had his hands placed behind him and was in those cuffs and was placed on the ground on his butt right next to his parents as they waited for the return of the other Jedi that had arrived with them.
He had exhausted all of his options, well his only option that was available. He glanced off to the distance away from the temple in the opposite direction and it was a straight path towards some trees, if he waited for the right moment he could perhaps get away. Korvus glanced towards them, the dead...his parents as he stifled a cry almost. He cleared his throat as another tear came from his eye and rolled down his cheek.
"Energy..." Korvus whispered to himself as he closed his eyes for a brief moment, before they opened again.
"The force will set me free." The young boy spoke just above a whisper as he stared at his parents bodies, and then glanced back towards the Jedi, as they both stood a few paces away, trading glances in between each other as to keep a good eye on him. He watched their movements like a hawk, waiting for the opportune moment to make his move.
