- Fighters: Equipped with seven combat squadrons, the Vindicator is ready to jump into the fight and lend support when and wherever it’s needed.
- Low Armament: While having some manner of armament the Vindicator is not nearly as well armed as some of its counterparts. Leaving her at the mercy of her combat squadrons.
- Limited Firing Arc: Her limited firing arc means the rear of the ship has little to no covering fire. Making her that much more reliant on escorts/combat squadrons to cover for her.
The reintroduction of the Vindicator also brought back Valessia Creed to the Primo Victorian Shipwright Offices in Victoria. Valessia Creed had been one of the first leads within the company before transferring ownership to Fiolette Raaf. Valessia was brought onto the project by Ryssa Yvarro, together with the First Order Corps of Imperial Engineers the Vindicator would be reworked to once more fit within the ranks of the First Order Navy.
The Vindicator continues to serve as a carrier cruiser with its traditional seven squadrons. Allowing her to provide support when and where she’s needed. However, due to this, the Vindicator is heavily reliant on her fighters to see her through confrontational situations. She does have a high defensive rating which allows her to stay in the conflict for as long as necessary.
Built with a SubLight Acceleration Motor, the Vindicator is able to gain a high speed rating at the risk of reducing its maneuverability to low. This gives the cruiser a chance to escape conflicts/confrontational situations and jump to hyperspace. While equipped with some armament, the Vindicator is best when escorted. Allowing her fighter compliment to perform to their fullest potential.
In addition to the low armament, her firing arc is limited as well as there is little that can reach the rear of the ship, thus adding to the emphasis that she be part of a group or at the very least escorted to and from her destinations.
The Vindicator will be produced at the Lusica Stynnix Imperial Shipworks over Qeravert IV as part of the First Order’s new military production program. It is part of a renewed partnership and investment between Primo Victorian Shipwright and the First Order.
