HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Viper Team was once a Death Watch Crusade strike team, having been formed by Mandalorians who tired of sith rule on mandalore under the reign of Darth Carnifex. The team was founded when by a Death Watch Rally Master named "Eqhu Rook" who recruited mandalorian civilians and warriors who helped fight back against the ambushing Graug when The Watch unleashed the xenophage to destroy the infestation on Mandalore.
Later, The Team was sent to Raid beskar shipments on Ordo when the New Imperial Order arrived on world. This is where they met Tae'l Vizsla, who was just a young Verd'ika back then. She and Eskol Wren, who would later become the team's medic, were fast friends. Eqhu on the other hand, was more like a big brother to the young Vizsla, who taught her to follow the Way of the Mandalore.
Though their numbers were diminished after the Crusade began to fail, These Mandalorians stuck together and kept up the fight against the empire. Some called them raiders or simple zealots, but they have since left that life behind after receiving Tae'l Vizsla's call to arms. They continued to serve with her through the later stages of The Shadow Crusade, and even beside The Enclave throughout Clan Vizsla's involvement.
The team gradually began to distance themselves from Kestri following the Great Council of 878 ABY due to a notable dislike of the enclave's warmaster at the time, and the beginning of a longstanding grudge against both Clan Saxon and Clan Krayt.
However, It wasn't until the creation of The Black Fleet that Viper Team officially withdrew military support of the enclave. With what was thought to be the death of Tae'l Vizsla at the battle of Timbra Ott, they have since sworn allegiance to Tae'l's mother, serving as the fleet's leading commandos.
