Viridi Green is effectively what you get when you mix benevolence with the desire for profit. Cheap food, habitable worlds, and a variety of livestock and guard beasts are all available to those willing to pay for it. However, most of the profit that Viridi Green earns is from national or corporate buyers wanting terraformed planets for colonization or exploitation. Such an exploit makes Viridi Green a small fortune for even a small moon and incredible amounts of credits for full planets.
RATIONALE
Auspex came into ownership of Viridi Green quite easily, a lump sum sent to the previous owner with promises of keeping him on as a second in command to run everything. Viridi Green at the time was nothing more than a small single planet corporation on Tyra'Weilen that had a few herds of Panakadon which it butchered and shipped off planet. Yet through Auspex's gentle guidance and a few executive decisions, Viridi Green grew into the multiplanet corporate power it is today. Nothing galaxy-spanning, but that may change soon enough.
