FINAL DAWN
SHOR, UNKNOWN REGIONS

The Eternal Empire was on the verge of collapse. Since the Destruction of Panatha, the Eternal Empress Ingrid L’lerm had gone missing, having been presumed to have been captured by the Brotherhood of the Maw, most likely at the hands of Kyrel Ren. Already many Mawite Warlords had begun expressing a sudden interest in the Eternal Empire, talking about a potential partition of the Eternal Empire between the various leading Warlords of the Maw. The Eternal Empire’s days were numbered, and the Warlords of the Maw now had set their eyes on the territories of the Eternal Empire.

With tensions between himself and other Maw Warlords only increasing as demonstrated with the recent gathering held at Exegol, High Regent Marlon Sularen sought to take advantage of the Eternal Empire’s impending collapse, seeing an opportunity to not only expand the influence and territories of the Final Dawn but to also recruit many Eternal Imperial Officers to his cause. As such through the Final Dawn’s Intelligence Agency known as the Politorate, the High Regent had arranged a meeting with a young aspiring Eternal Imperial Aristocrat by the name of Aviendha Monclaire, seeing her as a potential candidate to lead a Collaborationist Remnant of the Eternal Empire that could be formed once the Eternal Empire eventually collapsed.

Thus the FDS Hand of Judgement, the flagship of Director-Admiral Rackham Rackham who was set to represent the Final Dawn in the secret negotiations, would emerge from hyperspace arriving in proximity of Shor, a Neutral Planet in the Unknown Regions. With the Battlecruiser-sized Warship serving as the designated meeting area, all that was needed was for the Eternal Imperial Baronesse to make her appearance to begin the negotiations. If everything went as planned, then the Final Dawn would be granted with a major advantage over its rivals within the Maw when the time to split the Eternal Empire amongst themselves would come.

The resources of an Eternal Empire Baron or Baroness were finite, though not insignificant. At the designated meeting location, the star destroyer Spirit of Camadonus dropped out of hyperspace, moving slowly towards the larger Hand of Judgement. The Spirit advanced with its shields raised, though its weapon batteries were not fully charged. They idled at low power, ready to be brought to combat status in seconds, but for now they hung silent, a show of the peaceful intent of this meeting.

Standing on the bridge, Aviendha idly toyed with the glove on her left hand as she watched the other vessel grew bigger through the viewport. The very idea of this meeting was treasonous, and the thought did not sit well with Aviendha. In better times, she would have come out of hyperspace weapons firing, and with boarding parties prepared to storm the ship they approached. She itched to give those very orders now, but necessity held her at bay.

The Eternal Empire was in turmoil, and stability had to be found.

"
Inform the Hand of Judgement that we are prepared to open negotiations."

FINAL DAWN
SHOR,
UNKNOWN REGIONS

Today was an important day for the Final Dawn. Not only would they be able to lay the foundations for a potential collaborationist Eternal Imperial Rump State, but also outmaneuver all potential groups of interests that might show up on the area once the Eternal Empire collapsed. One of the main reasons for why the Final Dawn's efforts within the now defunct Confederacy had stagnated was because it had faced significant opposition from Local Factions and lacked any considerable influence due to the lack of any Local Collaborators. But the Final Dawn had learned from their mistakes and through Project Aftermath they would see to it that where they had failed in the former Confederacy, they would succeed within the soon-to-be defunct Eternal Empire. And all of that would start today.

Standing on the bridge of the Hand of Judgement was none other than the head of the Final Dawn's Secretive Intelligence Agency, Director-Admiral Dorian Sevenar who waited anxiously for the arrival of his Eternal Imperial counterpart. He had one chance to make up for his largely unsuccessful efforts in the Mid Rim and Outer Rim and Project Aftermath would determine whether he was worthy of his post or not. Soon enough an Eternal Imperial Warship, the Spirit of Camadonus would emerge from Hyperspace in proximity to the Hand of Judgement. It was a smaller Star Destroyer-sized vessel most likely with less firepower and Starfighters then the Hand of Judgement but still an impressive ship and perhaps a deadly one in its own right. Eventually the Director-Admiral's thoughts would soon be interrupted by a Communications Officer. "Sir, we have word from the Eternal Imperial Warship that they are ready to begin negotiations"

Sevenar slightly turned his head to face the officer and nodded. "Very well then. Open a channel with the Spirit of Camadonus. Let's hope these Eternal Imperials are reasonable people." the Director-Admiral said. Soon enough a channel would be opened to the Eternal Imperial Warship with a holographic image of the Director-Admiral soon appearing upon the bridge of the Spirit of Camadonus. "Ah, I assume you must be the Baroness, Aviendha Monclaire. I'm thankful you have been willing to accept our request for this meeting, I'm sure you must have your doubts on the matter as some of your peers might consider this as treason if they ever found out."
