Visiting tython, visitng the old jedi temple. (open to anyone)

Amy had leared to never stay in one place for to log. She found herself in the endless loop of going from place to place to outrun the empire due to what shes done so far. Attacking a few of the small brances for supplys and causing a bit of havoic. She knew she was playing with fire but when you have little to do with your life she thought shed go a bit down the rebel path thats shes heard so much about.

The force sensitive young woman soon found herself on Tython. A place she had always wanted to visit but was weary at the time but decided to push those fears aside. She wondered if the Jedi temple still stood or if it truly was in complete ruins. She knew Jedi still would visit her as its a place strong in the force. She let out a small sigh as she left her small ship hidden and made her way carefully toward where the temple should be. She wondered if she would run into anyone or anything. She knew shed probally be running into native beasts but humans or other alien species she wasnt sure of. Even Jedi or sith. She truly had no idea but she was following her instics.

The day had been a long one, and honestly Niyla was tired. She sat on a pillar long crumbled as she waited for her contact to come and make the trade.

See, a few weeks ago she had acquired a huge shipment of durasteel from some pirates and she couldn't for the life of her get rid of it. After multiple inquiries no one was willing to pay her price! She was fair...for the most part. Then out of nowhere she got a random message from 'anonymous' as she cleaned up after one of her shows. The note read:

Meet here - 345 787 764 932 at 22:19.

Well, she was here. So where was this 'anonymous' . Niyla sighed and flipped her hair back, quite aggressively. Any minute now a jedi would show up and ask about her intent, of course automatically assuming naught, she would be forced to fight this jedi. And probably lose... as she paced back and forth she heard Lightning hiss and look up to her. Her snake hissed again and clinbed off of her, like it was trying to get her to notice something.

The Crimson Flower was looking upon a trespassing Jedi. The girl was foolish, coming here, alone of all things! And now, she was slowly being surrounded by Sith troopers, with Udrusa holding her unlit lightsaber in her right hand. She checked the other troopers were in position, six in total, before stepping forward. With a simple push, she leaped into the air, performing a frontflip before smashing into the ground in front of the Jedi. The impact, combined with the Force (She had come to a crouch, almost as if she was kneeling. But her left fist had been punched into the ground), created a shockwave in the earth that rapidly rumbled towards the woman.

Afterwards, the Pureblooded Sith slowly rose to her feet, drawing her lightsaber and activating it, a cruel smile growing as the blade springs forth with a throaty, animalistic growl. She slowly stalks forward, her lightsaber becoming coated in Force Lightning while her right reached out to grip the woman ( [member="AmyIsabellaJarrus"] ) by her throat with the Force, intent on immobilizing her through a telekinetic chokehold. As this happened, the six troopers immediately stepped forward, all of them training their blaster rifles onto the Jedi as they form a circle around the pair.

(It doesn't have to work, the chokehold. But, you can't be unaffected either, as you are about my level in skill level. Well, I have recently had a couple training sessions with Darth Ophidia, and my strength has increased. I'd say I am average Sith Apprentice-level in power, for the most part.)

Amy Froze in place when this sith she didnt even know what around landed in front of her, surrounded by troopers now she felt a fear rise within her. Closing her eyes for a moment trying to figure out what to do. Her thoughts were soon cut short as she tried to grab the air in what she figured out was a force ability that was choking her. She gasped for air as she began to struggle a bit. She may look like a jedi due to the brown long thick cloak she wore but she was no Jedi. The light sabers at her hips always mistook her as one. She barley had any training herself. She only knew basic stuff from rare books she had found. She had hoped tython wasnt under sith control but she was wrong.

"P..Please. " She gasped out having a rather hard time making words. She looked at the troopers then back to the sith that had her in a choke hold. the world around her was slowly going black due to lack of oxygen. Her fear only growing stronger as time passed. She now began to believe she was going to die here. Mistaken for being a jedi. "I..im...n..." She struggled again to try and make words but failed again.

What these babes in the woods were doing on occupied Tython -- heart of One Sith territory -- was anyone's guess. Under her camouflage cloak, crouching in scrub-brush on a ridge, Mara watched the naifs run into a trooper squad and some kind of Sithling.

Well, so much for this recon run.

She glanced back at the crevice where the tiny courier Bullet Time was parked, but it would do fine there on its own, at least for the moment. Assuming she could get the travellers out of the pickle they were in, it would be a quick but tough uphill run to get to the parked ship. She adjusted the electrobinoculars with a grunt. Nobody'd sensed her yet -- her Force signature was as muted as she could get it -- so she had one chance for an uncountered strike.

As a Warden of the Sky, she'd learned projected fighting. Still a good fifty yards away, scrambling down a rubble-strewn slope, she threw out a fist and hit nothing but air. And a telekinetic strike, the impetus of her fist, lashed out at the Sith woman's back. Might crack a rib if she got lucky, but the idea was to break the Sith's concentration so that she couldn't continue choking out the unwary traveller. Meanwhile, Mara ignited her silver-bladed lightsabre: when it came to distraction, every little bit helped.

Her smile only grows crueler as she drops the woman to the ground, flipping her over so she can see into the cowering schutta's eyes. She slowly walks over to her, her lightsaber carving a long, deep scar into the soil as she reaches into the woman's mind in a brutal manner. She had sensed her mind was not as trained as a Jedi's, perhaps less than your average soldier, even. She sifted through the intruder's mind and memories as she searched for why this not-Jedi was here. She sets her foot on the other's chest, slowly pressing down into her ribcage as she leans down, holding her lightning-coated lightsaber to the woman's throat, close enough to blister her from the heat.

"Tell me... why are you here? Did you come, seeking riches from old ruins? Did you not know this planet belonged to the One Sith? Are you so idiotic as to not pay attention to the galaxy? You are weak, and your life forfeit. You do not do exactly as I say, I shall make your last hours the most painful of your life." She leaned down to grab the woman's face, before she found herself whipping around, barely absorbing the telekinetic attack in time, stumbling and letting out a loud 'oof' from the impact. With a telepathic command, the rest of the troopers, minus two who keep the captured woman pinned to the ground and their blasters at their head, immediately form a perimeter, with the Pureblood Apprentice casting out her senses to find who attacked her.

"Come out and face me, whoever you are. Or the girl shall die. Surrender, and you both may live."

As she was tossed to the ground she let out a pained fearful cry. looking up at the sith she looked around before she cried out feeling the sith rip into her mind for information. her eyes squined closed tightly as she struggled to try and push her out but she was in no way strong enough to do to. struggling a bit witht he pain she wasnt sure what to do. The moment her boot fell to her chest she gave out a pained grunt like noise as she tried to catch her breath. The moment the connection within her mind was broken she opened her eyes again to look around only to find two guns at her head. She swallowed hard as she stayed on the ground. She didnt know tython was in control of the sith. She felt like an idiot. When the sith whipped around looking for the sorce that attacked her she looked around to confused on who did it as she couldnt see anyone. " P..please...Im no jedi. I..I did not know the sith controled this area. I...I just wanted..t..to learn" She stopped speaking as she shuddered in pain. Her body hurt greatly and the pain only continued more. Amy was afraid now that the sith had possibly partally fragmented her mind.

Niyla heard a few footsteps, then the sound of a young womans cry. "Huh." She said aloud, more so out of aggravation than curiosity.

She looked back, walking towards the screaming. Her amphistaff climbed up her body, finding his way into into Niylas grip as he solidified. The ringmaster nodded, and twirled him around. "Whatever you say Light."

She didn't know what to expect as she turned the curve, but it certainly was not a sith and a jedi padawan, accompanied by troopers and a ship flying above them. As Niyla observed the sith she realized something, she had met that girl! They once had steaks together.

Niyla couldn't help but roll her eyes as she tightened her grip around Lightning.

"Hey Udrusa!" She called out with a sardonic tone. "Lets not be rash here." Niyla licked her lips as she wondered what was going to happen next.

There were six troopers total. Two were focusing on the downed naif; the other four had made a perimeter. That put, at maximum, two of them looking in her direction. She was moving quickly now, instinctive navigation being her specialty -- darting from ruined column to column, maximizing defensive coverage without sacrificing a great deal in the way of speed. Her sabre was out, she had their attention, she was eighteen kinds of visible.

The offered deal was, of course, terrible. Even if she succeeded in beating the Sithling to a pulp, the troopers would likely just attack both her and the helpless traveler.

Blaster rifles tracked in her direction as she made the final approach, sabre raised. There was another element here -- another concerned party. The empathic senses she'd inherited and honed made that clear enough. Ah -- another voice, a woman with brilliantly dyed hair.

"Lay off her," she said to the Sithling. "Let her go, right now. That's as fair a warning as you're going to get."

Silver-green eyes radiated from within the veil of darkness provided the hood of Cameron's cloak. A moderate distance away from the commotion he had sensed, the Sith Lord watched with mild interest. It was not tragically uncommon for various people to frequent Tython, particularly now it was under Sith control. A fair amount of the old Jedi establishments had been completely wiped away or converted to other purposes. There was little to seek here.

Then again...there were always those that wished to journey to where it all started. Just as Cameron was about to turn away and return to his own personal training, he watched as [member="Udrusa"] nearly lunged forward, randomly, before catching herself. The epicenter of the action was...not simple to trace, but it was possible if one was practiced in feeling even the most subtle of disturbances in the otherwise smooth ebbing of the Force.

In that regard, his gaze shifted to yet another figure. Cameron did not immediately recognize [member="Mara D'Lessio Merrill"] - she was considerably older now than during their inagural meeting on Telti. Even then, Cameron had seen but a flash of her seeing as she had been one of the first to flee the fast-food establishment she had been in. Clasping his hands behind his back, Cameron initiated a casual, measured progress towards the expanding altercation. He was, however, easily four hundred meters away.

She gestured for the six troopers to stand back, who immediately moved closer to the naif. Udrusa, herself, slowly stalked forward to the woman, holding her lightsaber out to one side while the other hung almost limply at her side. She slowly started to circle around the other woman, seemingly ignoring [member="Niyla Ar'i"], for good reason. There was a duel about to happen, and Udrusa could have no distractions. Her eyes roamed her opponent, searching for any openings in her defense, before mentally shrugging and launching a stream of lightning at her.

While she did so, she twirled her lightsaber in her hand, raising it slightly in preparation to strike, before she ended the stream of lightning after approximately 30 seconds of attack, immediately followed by a dash forward and a savage, lightning-fast swing from the right in a diagonal overhead slash. As she swung down, she let out an almost animalistic grunt of effort, and one would see her naturally gold eyes turning completely Sith Yellow, and her Dark Side presence growing in intensity. This Jedi fool would die, by her hand!

When amy watched the troopers move away she sat up and crawled backward slowly. her back now resting against the tree behind her. She closed her eyes still trtying to recover her breath. looking around at the scene another person. Jedi maybe? She watched the sith lunge at his person. She swallowed again as she tried to stand but slid back down to the ground as her body was in a bit more pain now as she moved. She didnt know if she had any broken ribs or any internal damage. She was just really sore at the moment. Her ship was to far for her to crawl to so she was stuck till someone either killed her or helped her.

How do I keep getting myself in these situations? She thought as the woman drew her silver lightsaber. Well, the good news was she had backup, sorda. The bad news was she had about 300 pounds of illegal cargo on her ship...fantastic.

Despite this she was good, she would protect this girl. However she sensed something more powerful was coming from afar, as she prepared to lunge forward she felt [member="Udrusa"] 's presence darken. She watched as the troopers stepped back to give their leader room, covering the girl from her sight.

This is great! She thought and ran towards her. The troopers pulled up their blasters and NIyla easily leaped over them, Lightning sliced them from behind as she looked upon this frightened woman, her heart beat rising.

"I can get you to safety, just take my hand." She smiled and offered the young woman hand.

Niyla wasn't too worried about the troopers. She let Lightning finish off the two that tried to shoot her, the others cornered by her amphibious friend.

"I promise I won't hurt you." She said again, wondering why she wouldn't take her hand.

The time that the Sith spent circling and evaluating Mara, Mara spent on better things. Getting some kind of awareness of the fallen girl's rescue situation, mainly, and noting a new and implacable presence that triggered a host of memories. If she'd been better at telekinesis, she'd have tried wrenching the guards' guns away or taking out their power packs, but that would take far too long and she was no Master. Instead, she just did her best to ensure that the Sithling's circular path didn't put Mara's back to the soldiers. A broken pillar helped with that.

Lightning snapped out and met Mara's silver blade. Her face grew tight with focus. It had to be costing the Sithling an awful lot to send out this much current for this long. If she wanted to wear herself into the ground, tire herself to the bone, she was welcome to do that. The same went for the Sithling's intensifying Force presence -- wasted energy, a sign of someone who expected to win quickly and hold nothing back for later. Mara's sabre continued to catch the weak lightning without a good deal of trouble. Lightning was best against the unprepared, overwhelmed, or distracted. Mara didn't qualify under any of those categories at the moment.

A charge, then, and the Sithling's blade hacked down at the crook of Mara's neck and left shoulder. She inverted her lightsabre as she brought it up, and met the strike on the forte of the blade, a handspan from the emitter aperture. The impact jarred her but she held. As the crashing contact ended, she rolled her wrist and flicked the silver lightsabre down at the crown of the Sithling's head. Not much power behind the cut, but even a glancing blow could hurt like feth. Or, you know, split the Sithling's skull down to the brain stem.

She just had to tie up the Sithling for a little bit longer, while the pink-haired girl got the other traveler to safety. Winning was irrelevant.

She froze when this person appeared in front of her. looking up at her she looked at her hand then up at her. What she knew of her force this person seemed to be telling the truth. She carefully took this persons hand. Attemping to stand she fell back down hissing in pain as she closed her eyes taking in a deep breath. She then tried again and this time soon but having to lean against the tree for support.

"W..Who are you?" She asked in a shaky pained tone. Looking around at the battle that seemed to just be getting started she looked back at the person in front of her.

"My name is Niyla." She said, nervously running a hand through her hair.

As the dual took place behind them Niyla just hoped she would make it back to the ship, however she would stick around for now and try to help this woman.

"Come on Light!" She said and gave her arm to the girl, placing the other out for her amphistaff to climb up. As her friend returned she noticed his blood getting slightly on her arm, sure he would heal himself but she was surprised to see they wounded a Vong creation, lucky for them they were distracted now, probably thinking they killed him.

As he returned to her she nodded and took in a deep breath.

The fighting continued in front of them and Niyla really had no choice but to walk the young woman around the temple. She tried to carry most of her weight, however the girl and Lighting together were not light. She knew she wasn't going to be able to keep this up for a long time.

She weaved to the right, leaping into the air and sending an armored foot out to the Jedi's face. After the attack, whether she is successful in it or not, she would continue her jump, landing on the other side of the woman and sending a telekinetic blast into her back. Hopefully, the attack would at least stumble the woman enough to open up a free slash for her. She wouldn't be doing anything with the lightning like that again, it did wear her out some. Nothing she couldn't recover from, though. She paid no mind to the troopers and other two unknowns, only focusing on her duel.

The troopers had been able to overwhelm the amphistaff, one stomping on its neck to keep it pinned while unloading his rifle into it, hoping to at least knock the damnable snake out, while the other five quickly took aim at the other pai and started to blast away, the sudden volley likely sending the two to cover as they, themselves dived behind fallen columns, treestumps, and small boulders for cover. Two other soldiers made a move to flank around the two women, skirting the edge of the clearing while the other three continued to fire upon them.

Cameron's progress towards the altercation was paused only by the soft beeping of his communicator. Halting his advance, the Sith Lord retrieved the device and briefly listened to the voice on the other end. Seconds later, Cameron stored the device. Smiling back in the direction of the young Acolyte...that seemed to have somehow discovered the use of a very taxing ability, the Sith Lord shrugged his shoulders.

There were several lessons that had to be leared by the many Acolytes of the Sith. Chief among them...was adapting to an evolving combat situation and making best use of resources. Seeing as the troopers were, more or less, just watching, the Sith Lord elected to give them a break. No doubt this little incident was creating a gap in whatever defensive perimeter they had been ordered to patrol.

Telepathically, the Sith Lord expanded his presence enough to touch the mind of all the Sith Troopers. Troops. Return to your barracks for reassignment to priority tasking. Now. Grasping his datapad, Cameron uploaded his command signal into the defense network for Tython in case the troopers foolishly elected to ignore the directive. If [member="Udrusa"] chose to engage in this situation on her own, Cameron would allow her to rise to meet the challenge of the trial. No doubt word would reach his ears as to whether or not she accepted the opportunity to improve her capability.

He would not, however, stand around to watch. There was apparently a situation that required his attention elsewhere. Urgently. Mists of dark blue began to swirl around the Sith Lord's present location as the strength of the dark side abruptly intensified throughout the area. The skies above Cameron began to swirl and compress together as if a Tornado was about to form. Arcs of purple-white energy radiated down towards the Sith Lord's location before a large, audible pop and a strong, circular ripple of Force energy erupted from where Cameron had previously stood.

The instant his body had disappeared, the area returned to normal in the wake of a technique Cameron had spent years learning and practicing during the Crusade's dominion over the Aing-Tii.
