I'm Sorry Dave
- Intent: A new type of fuel for Globex and the Open Market.

- Primary Source: N/A
- Manufacturer: The Globex Corporation | Vanguard Hypernautics
- Affiliation: The Globex Corporation
- Market Status: Open-Market
- Model: Visium
- Modularity: Significant.
- Visium comes in two distinct forms, with the more common gaseous state used in everything from blasters and industrial use (normally low-grade) to vehicles and starships (normally mid-grade) to hyperdrives (should definitely be high-grade). Solid State Visium, on the other hand, is generally reserved for hyperdrives, experimental weapons, and facilities needing to operate unsupplied for long stretches of time, as it contains more energy but is both more complicated and less energy-efficient to produce. Visium comes in many different forms - fuelling your starfighter with blaster-grade Visium is what mechanics call "What the feth are you doing you maniac, are you trying to kill yourself or just your engine?".
- Production: Mass-Produced
- Material: Potential Energy
- Classification: Synthetic Fuel
- Weight: Very Light (Gaseous) | Average (Solid)
- Colour: Blue, tinged by shades pink, purple, red, and white.
- Resistances: N/A, if your fuel is being attacked directly you are in for a bad time.
- Visium is, in effect, refined potential energy; it functions more or less as other fuels do and comes in various grades, see "Modularity". It is significantly more potent in its solid state, though the refining process is difficult enough that the gaseous state remains the norm.
- Blaster-grade Visium normally generates distinctive blue-white bolts in blasters, bluer for stun bolts and whiter for particle beams.
- Power is Power: Visium is synthesised from less portable or useable energy to ease use, storage, and transportation of potential energy.
- High Technology: Visium synthesis requires highly advanced equipment and often specialised expertise.
- Fuel Go Boom: Uncontrolled activation of potential energies (i.e., a big boom) can occur through accident or sabotage.
Ever-hungry for innovations to increase its profit margins and improve its logistical networks, the Globex Corporation had long sponsored research into energy generation; a product of its Experimental Energetics Subdivision facility on Erex Minora, Visium started off as a highly unstable creation synthesised from thermal energy but was later refined into a more stable form of fuel able to be made from various energy forms.
Most commonly synthesised from electrical, chemical, solar, nuclear, or thermal energy, Globex's engineers have started toying with concepts for massive refineries designed to draw in Quintessence and dilute it into the much simpler-to-use Visium, but for now, they remain theoretical.
