Psychological Data
STRENGTHS:
Analytical Capabilities – Vivian has the consciousness of an Artificial Intelligence, despite her human brain. She is used to rapidly interpreting information and predicting outcomes. While these capabilities are decreased with her human brains, she still interprets and reacts to stimuli much fast than ordinary humans.
Electronic Familiarity – Years of being an AI locked in machinery will give you an understanding of said device. Vivian retains that understanding, and can easily evaluate most machines she meets.
WEAKNESSES:
Spasms – The machine that connected Vivian consciousness to the clone body failed to connect her motor cortex properly. As a result, Vivian suffers from spasms, causing her to briefly lose control of her body
Stutter - Due to her aforementioned neural troubles, Vivian has a permanent stutter. This makes verbal communication with others difficult.
Emotionally Confused – Vivian doesn’t understand emotions or any feelings beyond hunger, pain and fatigue. This is not to say she doesn’t feel them, but the lack of understanding often leads to confusion, which can be hazardous.
APPEARANCE/BEHAVIOUR:
Vivian Sayre is the exact image of her template, Naomi Sayre. The woman is a clone and therefore is identical to Naomi. Unlike her model however, Vivian has difficulty showing emotion, or animating her face at all. Unused to a physical body, the ‘woman’ is clumsy and awkward in her movements. She speaks with a stutter, a side effect of the machinery failing to connect to her brain properly.
Brief History
Vivian was not always a clone, or even a human. She was once an AI, serving the First Order in data interpretation and predictive analysis. She was erratic however, showing tendencies towards individuality, abstract concepts and wild predictions. Multiple memory wipes failed to contain the problem and eventually she was deemed unfit for use, shut down and sent into storage.
Years later, the FOSB would trial a risky procedure: Project Afterlife. The project aimed to create super soldiers and, unsurprisingly, faced some early roadblocks. The main issue was the use of brain augmentation. First Order technology was advanced and complicated, but the human brain was more-so. They needed to test its capabilities.
Enter the ‘Virtual Interface Version 1 – Artificial Nexus’, or V.I.V.1-A.N for short. It was thought that her unique capacity of awareness could function as an adequate test of the hardware. Hope were not high, but the AI far exceeded their expectations. V.I.V.1-A.N joined the neural network of her clone, Naomi Sayre, to a high degree. The only part that joined poorly was the motor cortex.
Faced with an entirely new and unplanned result, the FOSB investigated, now eager. Vivian Sayre (as she called herself) was an interesting experiment. She could learn facts and analytical knowledge quickly, but more abstract topics, such as emotions were confusing to her. Additionally, she had trouble with her body. Because she had a poor connection to the motor neurons, she was very clumsy. Her speech is often slow, and she retains a persistent stutter.
Faced with a new-found sentience and taste for human experience, Vivian's decision as an individual is to leave the First Order. The FOSB allow her, so long as she remains an FO citizen and returns if they need more data.
Faced with a new reality, Vivian ventures out into the galaxy.
