- [-] Damaged: Internal components in his hands and head are damaged and not repairable, which would require replacement, but production of Synthdroids have stopped and possibly lost over the years. Replacement would probably mean replacing synthskin, learning to programs and functions for these new arms, extreme adaptation to the new mechanisms, etc. Bottom-line, the damage is permanent.
- [-] Droid Susceptibility: Vixley doesn't have many internal protections from outside sources. Only his datacore is extensively protected to shield it from corruption. He can be shut down if his CCIR module is repaired, shutdown through EMP devices, can be effected by water if there's a breach in his synthskin, etc.
Biography
CM-01 "Vixley," very short and not special name. This name was given to this droid after being rebuilt, restored, and given a complete makeover by a very intelligent doctor with some friends in engineering. Vixley was put together and programmed to be the first "Combat Medic" of the doctor, but with the ability to never get old and keep "fighting the good fight" and carry on the Doctors Oath. Originally, there was supposed to be almost a small squads full. With the price on new, old, and parts of Synth Droids still high, the Doctor had sizable assets and reasoning for this. The Good Doctor believed the Clone Wars would destroy everyone. He believed the Republic was acting like a dictator, and the wrong-doings of the Confederacy would ultimately kill perhaps half of the galaxy off. That, or seriously destabilize every known civilization into death, illness, and misery. These Synthdroids would never be affected by such things.Vixley, ultimately, lived a very short life. At least, an operational life. First activated in 21 BBY, Vixley met his "hypersleep" in 19 BBY, where he laid dormant for almost 900 years on Mygeeto. Vixley and the partially completed Combat Medic squad attempted in defending their creator, the Doctor, after their underground facility was assault by Droids. Super Battle Droids ravaged through the facility, one even firing off one of its wrist missiles, causing a small collapse within the facility. By then, the rest of the squad had been decimated. Vixley was pinned in the collapse, but a heated pipe smashed against his face and hands, damaging his in multiple ways. Destroying the smaller components in his hands, damaging his memory core, and his face was pressed inward, causing facial features and "muscle movements" of the jaw and eye to look awkward and broken, aside from the heated pipe screwing up his synthskin.
It is unknown whatever happened to the Doctor, but it's safe to assume he had a chance of escape, as the collapse cut the droids off from advancing. But the primary entrance became blocked as the rest of the facility became unstable. Vixley had no plans of the facility, so he doesn't know if there was another way to escape. After 800 years, the facility finally re-stabilized, either from construction, or fallen pylons and structural beams hardening into place. Vixley was able to be reactivated after being discovered, but now he leads a new life, not knowing of his past due to the damage to his memory.
