The tiny computer chip is used to hook into a weapon produced by Akaanir Weapons and tech to make the weapon voice activated allowing the user to lock it and make sure unauthorized users cannot use it, as well as the ability to change firing modes or switch between firing attachments that may be on the weapon. The chip was specifically design to work only with Akaanir Weapons and Tech products and will actually malfunction and not work properly if used on anything else.
