- [ Tear them Asunder ] | Rive's near berserker like behavior on the battlefield makes him a fearsome force of nature, not one to be confronted by. He s relentless and merciless in his pursuit of blood and is capable of cleaving entire companies down on his own, growing even more ferocious the more injuries he sustains in battle.
- [ What Doesn't Kill Me, Makes Me Stronger ] | Rive possesses an accelerated healing factor, even by Gen'dai standards, allowing him to regenerate and grow lost/severed limbs with frightening speeds. There is also some adaptive quality in his genetic makeup that allows him to grow resistant and calloused to whatever forms of damage he takes ie hardening his muscle cords to deflect kinetic damage or become increasingly more resistant to elements.
- [ Loose Cannon ] | Many know to keep their distance from Rive once he has begun his rage filled rampage. It is not uncommon for friendlies in addition to enemies fall before Rive as he is hardly able to distinguish friend from foe. He will rip and tear apart anyone in his way. Though his berserker like behavior on the battlefield make him a powerful asset, it only furthers his descent into madness via accelerated psychosis.
- [ Descent unto Madness ] | Though Rive's regenerative abilities are superior to most Gen'dai, it comes at the cost of his own sanity. Each encounter that brings him closer to the brink of 'death' where he would suffer injuries that would be considered fatal to most species such as decapitation or any form of severe damage to his head pushes his mental limits. This further throws Rive into a rage induced monster that will require extensive measures to keep down until his mind regresses into a more clear state.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Rive is the elder of two Gen'dai brothers, serving as a commander of the Sith Imperial Legion. Rive, with his fellow brother Guile spent much of their existence in peaceful isolation for many, many centuries. They were hermits that sought to help and educate the younger species that came across them though this would take a turn for the worse as the years passed by. Being the older of the two Gen'dai, Rive was the first to begin experiencing the effects of psychosis that his species was prone to, having grown tired of the peaceful life they lived, and forcing his younger brother to follow in his steps. Where Rive chose action, Guile chose logic and thus was constantly balancing out with his more level headed brother when a poor course of action was taken.
Eventually the two would part ways, and Rive would travel amongst the stars, seeking to sate his growing bloodlust. He grew as a nightmarish legend amongst the stars, traveling to planets to wreak chaos and leave a trail of bodies in his wake. Though he was not very bright, he began to get creative with his murderous methods, seeking new ways to bring pain and agony upon his victims, and yet he continued to want more. Despite having gone separate ways from his brother, the two shared a bond that allowed Rive to find his way back to his brother Guile, who had since fallen in line with the Sith in pursuit of knowledge. Reunited, Rive sought to understand why his brother Guile had chosen the path of submission, having immediately grown to dislike the Anzati Sith that his brother deigned to follow.
In open defiance, Rive attempted to turn on Kor Vexen and add to his list of victims that he would have torn apart. It was a fierce battle for Rive, though it did not seem to be much of a challenge to the superior skill and combat prowess of Vexen, who continued to cut Rive down again and again. At some point, Rive had completely lost himself to his bloodlust and thus required containment which was of little issue to the Anzati Sith who was a master of Force Stasis. Though Vexen was not too particularly interested with Rive as he was Guile, he still saw potential in the Gen'dai and offered him a position as a commander in his Legion. Once Rive had returned to a sane mental state, he too bent the knee and serves as Vexen's subordinate.
