Part of the Exploratory Committee Project, or ECP, Void Inc. leads the sector in dispatching technologies to both quantify and analyze surrounding galaxies, societies, and military engagements. The HSP-79 is a dedicated project to delivering packages across the galaxy and serving as part of the Luminar Project, Void Inc.'s pledge to establish a wide and varying network of satellites and communication arrays throughout the galaxy. By purchasing several contracts with the New Imperial Order, the Luminar Project has amounted the funds to possess and distribute several HSP-79 droids in NIO space and beyond. Though the project is new and ongoing, the rapid pace in which these droids can be built and shipped to their locations will exponentially increase over the next few months. It is theorized that nearly all of New Imperial Order space can be mapped and processed for communication array arrangement - as well as integrated into the sphere of the Luminar Project - within only a few months.
Cheap and easy to build, the hyperspace pods of the HSP-79 product can be dispersed in a rapid pace environment. Due to their lack of shielding and high quality communication components, these droids were not used nor intended for use in weapon deployment packagaes - and, as part of their contract with the New Imperial Order, passive material collects were the only approved goal within the Imperial military. Moff Kapshan intended these only for informational use and data collects.
Several HSP-79's could be deployed to the same system to strengthen the area's communication relay and bolster the numbers against redundant failure rates.
