- Tipped with a grenade that is capable of effectively detonating man-sized targets within a ten-meter area of effect. Sonic concussive explosives rupture and puncture their targets, unlike a sonic wave that envelops or transfers energy.
- Each weapon requires priming on the handle to activate the sonic charge.
- Sonic weapons have a disorientating effect on the senses and the nervous system.
- Each javelin has a miniaturized repulsorlift engine capable of further accelerating the javelin as it leaves the thrower’s hand, at typical speeds of 400 m/s, with a maximum speed of 850 m/s. However, it should be noted that this engine is not powerful enough to allow independent flight.
- The javelin can be remotely controlled by Lisette via neural link.
- A trapped grip allows only Lisette and anyone that she permits to control and wield the weapon or prime the detonator. The hilt will discharge a potent electrical energy field in the event that it are handled by an unauthorized agent, with the potential to cause severe burn injuries to the victim.
- Dual Action - The javelin features a piercing tip and a concussive sonic discharge upon impact. Even if intercepted, the area around the landing site should experience a sonic discharge.
- Lightweight - Easy to carry multiple javelins on your back without issue.
- Force Nullification - The synthetic Void Stone integrated into each of the javelins makes them extremely difficult to detect or counter via the Force. However, since only a minute amount of the material was incorporated into their constructions, its effects are largely negligible in disrupting a Force-sensitive individual's overall connection to the Force. The radius of Force disruption is only just wide enough to cover each respective javelin, thereby protecting the javelin itself from the Force.
- Void Missile - The Skuggalegt coating makes the javelin extremely difficult to detect and lock onto via threat detection systems, sensors, targeting systems, and/or scanners.
- Disorienting - Sonic weapons can damage hearing, senses, and the nervous system, creating a disorienting effect.
- Penetration - The Mullinine tip is alloyed with ultra-dense Neuranium, giving it a durability equivalent to beskar. Thus, the javelin has the ability to penetrate beskar and equivalent materials, not only due to the strength of its penetrating tip, but also due to the additional force behind it as compared to the stock variant of the javelins.
- Controlled Detonation - The charge only detonates if primed, allowing the javelin to be used for stabbing or dropped without triggering an explosion.
- Single Use - The weapon discharges once; there are no second chances.
- No Fly Zone - Repulsorlift jammers are one of the most effective counters to the acceleration capabilities of the javelin as it leaves the thrower’s hand. They can negate the repulsor fields generated by the engine and subsequently slow down the weapon to varying degrees of effectiveness depending on a number of factors pertaining to the repulsorlift jammer in question, including power quotient, distance, intensity, and yet more.
- Vulnerable to Sabers - Lightsabers can cut through the javelin, but must avoid the head landing nearby to prevent being hit by the concussive charge.
- Time Consuming - It takes time to draw and throw another javelin.
- Concealability - While typically wielded with one hand, the javelin is a physical weapon that can not be readily concealed on a person in the same manner as a lightsaber.
- Limited in Melee - Too light to be effective in melee combat beyond being a distraction or a stabbing weapon.
After finding the SCJ Deadline-B to be one of her favorite weapons, Lisette sought to modify it with the aim of enhancing its capabilities and lethality. Thus, the Void Lances were created. Out of the modifications, one of the most notable isthe inclusion of a small repulsorlift engine that boosts the javelin’s speed and thereby, its penetration power. The javelin also includes a mono-molecular tip which is enhanced with ultra-dense neuranium, giving the tip durability equivalent to beskar. Thus, much like a beskar spear or whistling bird, the javelin’s tip can penetrate beskar armor. From here, the inclusion of Void Stone and a stealth coating makes the javelin slippery and elusive to synthetic and preternatural senses. Finally, a trapped grip offers security, so that only Lisette or those that she authorizes can wield the javelin.
