In twelve hours, the city of New Advora will be destroyed by a supervolcano.
The city is host to a conference in which a new advancement in geothermal technology that has the potential to change the face of clean energy as we know it will be unveiled in a conference open to representatives of all factions. The First Order has granted passage to everyone, friend and foe alike, regardless of faction affiliation, so absolutely anyone who can think of a good excuse to show up is more than welcome.
Once the eruption is announced, all air traffic from the city will be cut off, and everyone will have to make their way to nearby Otrera to get offplanet. The scale of the eruption is massive enough that it'll be destroyed too, but its spaceport won't be affected by the ash cloud.
This will be a semi-DMed thread. I'll control the timeline of the volcano, posting regular updates about what it's doing, etc. Beyond that, how you make your escape is up to you. Will you rise to the occasion and be the hero New Advora deserves, or will you stab your neighbor in the back to save your own skin?
The choice is yours.
