Von-Kri, The Plague Disciple

Born to an Epicanthic Father and an Echani Mother, Von-Kri was stolen as a youth from the world of Ossus during the Sith Eternal's invasion under the Worm Emperor. While he once held disdain for them, his Dark Side corruption slowly built in him a reverence for strength, and his dreams of revenge slowly fell away to the glory of following strength. Now, he is a young warrior focused on experimentation with a focus on a very peculiar section of Dark Side magicks.
While many Sith look for power in lightning or telekinesis, Von-Kri studies the art of the plague. Following in the steps of Darth Drear and others - carefully keeping track of synthetic life built to consume. Everyday he pushes those limits, hoping to encourage a path deeply rooted in pestilence. For now, however, he works under others to achieve much grander goals - ever fighting for his place as a respected member of the Sith Order.
Currently, Von-Kri operates as a member of the Sith Imperial Alchemic group studying a variety of biological diseases, animals, and more. Inbetween his research, however, he works with other members of the Sith to further the goals of Darth Empyrean and the rest of the Sith Eternal. Doubly, he studies under a Sepulchral Priest known as Jumbi. Jumbi acts as a guide and tutor to the Sith Arts - ensuring they are always up to date as far as their training can handle.

│ Appearance │

Von-Kri is a relatively short, light fighter - evident in his habit of looking up to his contemporaries, thin physique, and being annoyed comments about his height. While his physique is nothing impressive as compared to the 7 or 8 foot, he holds a reasonably athletic litheness about himself with a vastly empowered endurance - were it not for the disease that threatens him at all times.
Born with black hair, Von-Kri's mortal condition drives his body to the edge at all times, bleaching the hair at the edges and making it brittle should it grow too long. His nails are blackened by the disease and treatments, but worse yet is the blackened nature of his eyes - the corruption in his body threatening to rot even the eyes he looks upon the world with. Add on a large scar that breaches his forehead to his cheek - and he is an oddly imposing figure despite his size and inexperience.
His burden carries in his face, rarely smiling and hyper focused in his research. Even still, he had a vaguely attractive nature about him - with a hard set nose and thin face. His cheeks are gaunt, bones jutting outwards along a cut jawline, with small ears signing the edge of his facial musculature. All the while, his jaw muscles work tirelessly, grinding his teeth in a mix of pain and focus.

│ Personality │

Carrying a hard burden in a mortal disease from birth, Von-Kri has a chip on his shoulder as he fights the fate of death laid out before him. In this he struggles against mortality, and it carries through to his social interactions. Often he is cold and callous, lashing out from the mix of pain and hidden fear deeper inside - yet this self imposed isolation is only a surface trait.
Beneath that, he has a notable joy for puns, jests, and jokes. To get to this is hard, but for those he considers friends will find him a lovely companion; yet he had a habit of abandoning people soon after he meets them. Written off as 'for their own good', Von-Kri is convinced of his own sovereignty - that if nobody gets close, failure in his mission to survive will mean nothing.
| Biography |

Von-Kri was born on the planet Ossus, the child of an Echani mother and an Epicanthic father. From a young age, he struggled with a serious and potentially life-threatening illness that placed a significant financial burden on his family. Despite their best efforts, Von-Kri's parents were unable to afford the medical care they needed, and they were eventually forced into hiding to evade debt collectors.
During this time, Von-Kri's illness continued to progress, and it seemed as though he would not survive. However, fate intervened when the Sith Eternal invaded Ossus and discovered that Von-Kri was Force sensitive. Seeing an opportunity to train a powerful new apprentice, the Sith inducted Von-Kri into their order and brought him to Odavessa for training.
On Odavessa, Von-Kri began to study both the Force and the science behind his illness, determined to find a way to contain it as much as possible. This led him down a unique path within the Sith, focusing on the Dark Side of the Force and its potential to harness the power of disease and pestilence. His studies eventually brought him to the Cult of Morbus, a group dedicated to the worship of Zero, the Gulag Plague, and all forms of illness in the galaxy as a means of cleansing and purging the weak.
As the Sith-Imperial Civil War came to an end and the Sith Eternal were defeated, Von-Kri remained on Odavessa, continuing his research and studies. When the Sith reemerged in the galaxy on the planet Jutrand, Von-Kri joined them and began using his knowledge and expertise to study the populace and criminals of the captured worlds. He remains a student at the Sith Academy on Jutrand, but frequently travels throughout the galaxy in search of new epidemics and opportunities to study medicine and disease. Despite the challenges he has faced in his life, Von-Kri has found purpose in his role as a Sith apprentice and researcher, using his knowledge and powers to serve the Dark Side and bring about the purging of the weak.
