A former street rat turned raider, Vorik is a free-spirited individual marred by the Shadow's influence, currently working with the Dark Empire to achieve goals of personal survival, power, and triumph.

HISTORY
Born in poverty on the fringes of known space, Vorik was a street rat with a strong instinct for survival. They did their best to get by in a place rife with criminal activity, from spice dealing and gang wars to human trafficking. With the help of what seemed to be a peculiar luck and knack for violence, they were able to make do.
Eventually, this peculiar luck culminated into the barest whispers of a connection with the Force, which was used to further his personal survival and ambitions. Without principles or any official training, their abilities put them a step above their peers - a fact that he took pleasure in, and ensured to take advantage of. Ascending from petty crimes to piracy, Vorik constantly tested the bounds of what they were capable of for little reason other than to see if they could.
Unfortunately, his skills mostly remained confined to physical combat, and not the peculiar bond he held a connection to. The robbery of an artifact transport eventually led to him uncovering a holocron that allowed him only the smallest of details regarding the Force, marred by the Shadow that dwelled within himself - ancient teachings of Ren. With it brought a newfound curiosity and pursuit, to which he abandoned his active life of piracy in favor of following.
His search led him deeper to unknown space. When the beacon of Darkness was lit, again he returned to the galaxy in pursuit of it. The Dark Empire, in his mind, was simply the most surefire way to get what he was looking for.
