History
Born into extreme poverty, Vorm struggled all through his early life with his vagrant family who moved from planet to
planet in the Unknown Regions; they themselves fled the consequences of gambling and obsessive substance abuse. The young Vorm would find solace in the secret ability he shared with his brother; a wondrous skill to manipulate nearby objects with their minds alone.
When his brother had been taken in by the mysterious Jedi Order, he was left behind, alone and devastated with parents who neglected him. He was deemed to only have a weak connection to what they referred to as the Force, and that it shall soon fade. Having learnt of this ability, Vorm's parents sold their only child into the possession of a fringe group of scientists that sought Force-sensitive children to experiment on, aiming to make money off of their remaining offspring while he still exhibited signs of superhuman aptitude.
On an unnamed planet, in a hidden research station he had spent the rest of his youth and early adulthood, where he was experimented on genetically and psychologically – to test the limits of his telekinetic capabilities and develop him into an unstoppable juggernaut. The early diagnosis of the Jedi turned out to be false, as his gifts were significant. Vorm had been forged into a weapon, a melee combatant, operative and swordsman; a Force-imbued warrior with considerable hold over the supernatural.
It was
only a matter of time before he had escaped from the research station that tortured him for all these years, and his avenues of revenge were manifold. By that time, his genetic alterations had manifested; his skin hardened enough to be able to withstand even a couple of energy bolts and thick enough to tolerate deeper cuts of a blade. Instead of hair, short and sharp spikes grew over parts of his body.
Finding out the death of his parents made him a husk of anger, but his hatred could take root in unforeseen ways. Enlisting with the Brotherhood of the Maw and and discovering meaning within their unholy scripture, Vorm found an outlet for his destructive urges, soon drawing the attention of the Knights of Ren as a result of his obvious Dark Side abilities on the battlefield. The twisted warrior was immediately given a brutal assignment; to vanquish his still living brother and take his weapons.
The tragic tale of the two brothers has been lost beneath an ocean of tears and suffering, but from the shadowy cavern of their history only one thing emerged; a fearsome duelist, a berserker of the Dark Side.
