STRENGTHS
Death from Afar: Outfitted almost exclusively with long-range weaponry complimented by advanced targeting systems and long range sensors the Vorr-Class excels at engaging the enemy at a distance and outside of their own range. Due to the long-range design of its weaponry and its sensors the Vorr-Class can pick up enemy vessels at range and fire on them before they have the capacity to return fire. The Advanced Targeting Systems ensure that even at extreme range the Vorr-Class fires with pinpoint accuracy rather than relying on a 'blast radius' effect when attacking.
Firing on the Run: All Vor-Class ships are equipped with retroactive engines and afterburners. In a nutshell these are engines and maneuvering thrusters placed on the front of the ship that can be activated so that the Cruiser moves directly backwards, away from its opponents rather than requiring it to navigate and turn in order to move away. These engines are not as large or as prevalent as those on the aft of the ship ensuring that the Cruiser has a maximum speed a third of its forwards momentum when moving backwards. Used primarily as a tactical advantage they ensure that the Vorr-Class can maintain distance and the optimal use of its long-range weaponry for longer when enemies attempt to advance on them.

WEAKNESSES
Moar Energy: Long-range weaponry is known to be more powerful than its regular counterparts however this incurs a larger drain on ships systems as well. A Vorr-Class can either fire its weaponry to maximum effect and range or power its shields. This means that anyone who can close range on the Cruisers and survive a hellacious barrage of firepower will have a distinct advantage.
Low Hangar Capacity: A Vorr-Class only has enough hangar space for two squadrons of fighters and a single shuttle craft. Aside from its Point Defense Lasers the the Fighters are primarily used in defense of the ship not for engaging the enemy.

DESCRIPTION
The Vorr-Class Assault Cruiser is a long-range combatant. Unlike other militarizes that create enormous and highly armored vessels that slog through space the Hutt Space Consortium has created a mobile and ranged variant.

Equipped almost completely with long-range weaponry including Heavy Turbolasers and Quad Heavy Turbolasers this Assault Cruiser was designed to shred enemy ships at a distance and out of their range of fire with pinpoint accuracy before they could respond. As the Hutts say 'time is credits' and so are ships, the Consortium wants to make credits not lose them so it stood to reason that ships that could destroy their opponents before they could even be fired upon would be an equitable investment.

Aside from its long-range arsenal the Vorr-Class is also equipped with powerful Ion Engines that ensure it is faster than other Cruisers of its size, in fact due to the power output of the engines it is likely at least as fast as a large Frigate-Class vessel. This likewise ensures that the Vorr-Class can keep retreating enemies in range and targeted until they can deliver the kill shot that reduces them to slag.

All this power does come with a tradeoff. The Reactors used to power the Vorr-Class experience significant drain when attempting to power both its Long-range weaponry and its deflector shields ensuring one or the other must be deactivated at any given time. This means that when firing at full effect the Vorr-Class is essentially unshielded, it does sport reinforced durasteel plating though meaning it can take some damage before catastrophic failure. The Hutts considered this disadvantage minimal considering the Cruisers would be outside of the range of enemy vessels the majority of the time.

It's not uncommon for a Vorr-Class Assault Cruiser to accompany a pair of Nok-Class Destroyers on missions. The two vessels work well together, the Nok-Class is extremely durable and can create shield the Vorr-Class from enemy fire and smaller vessels seeking to close the distance with them while the Vorr-Class weaponry can soften or shred large targets at a distance.
