Thanks a ton for linking this to us; I voted in it today. I was actually hoping for some people in history who had tried to make it to space who never did. For instance, Robert Lawrence who died before he was transferred to NASA or Janet Dietrich who was disqualified from the Mercury project. I thought it would have been neat to get them up in space some other way like naming an object after them ^.^
