My friends, are you aware that slavery is still legal even in the Galactic Republic?!
There are no official laws in place that currently prohibits the use of slaves. Jedi, military officers, and citizens of the Republic, it is time that the Republic finally puts an end to the use of slaves! I have newly proposed a legislation in the Senate to abolish slavery once and for all. Vote, my friends, to bring freedom and liberty to our Republic!
