Monster
- Intent: To create an extremely powerful, fully self aware and sentient AI/Droid Brain

- Manufacturer: Freebirds Industries
- Affiliation: The Dire Wolves Mercenary Company, CLOSED MARKET
- Model: None
- Modularity: Can interface with all tech on connected vessels/stations
- Production: Semi-Unique
- Material: Lots and lots of quantum processors, miles of wiring, computer and electronic parts, and other necessary parts to make an extremely powerful droid brain. This Droid brain is encased in an Phrik-A, Yorik Coral, Ionite-A Composite Spaced armor that protects the internals from most methods of attack.
- This AI is extremely capable, with the onboard computing power of the droid brain allowing it to perform hundreds of trillions of operations a second with ease, and thus this AI is able to quickly accomplish tasks that normally require raw computing power and days of work in hours if not minutes.
- AI is able to learn to utilize whatever it is attached to, thus being able to learn how to control ship systems if installed on a ship, or even assist researchers with their work by utilizing its raw power to help crunch numbers. This AI though can also learn how to be creative, what emotions are, and even become near human in its interactions with people. This means that this AI doesn't actually need to pass the Turing test, because it is very much alive.
- Droid brain is prepacked with tons of processing power, and is able to transmit this through whatever comms equipment available provided that you have the bandwidth available. This means to use this AI to hack into and access doors remotely, you can use your own comms equipment to be the go between and let the droid brain in the ship be able to do the hard work of accessing the door through you.
- Is able to make smaller but still useful copies of itself to be taken with people on the go in case the need presents itself.
- It's a supermassive Sentient AI: This thing has the processing power to literally outpace any organic beings it encounters and is able to use this processing power to great effect. This means in any challenge where its competing against an organic, it is faster to react, respond, and even come up with a correct solution. This means that with this AI supporting you, you can use this to assist in all manner of operations, from plotting search and rescue patterns, to monitoring enemy tactics and coming up with counters in the field.
- It's a Supermassive Sentient AI: So this thing is self aware. And has already attained sentience. It is not your slave. It is not your servant. You will treat it with respect. Or, it will make you. Don't be that guy.
So with all of the new technology that Freebirds Industries was making, and all of the work that was needing to be done in the Surric System to assist with clean up, they had a massive problem. Freebirds needed something to help organize it all and be able to assist with coordinating with other branches in and out of system to achieve its stated objectives of getting their cleanup completed ahead of schedule. One of the many researchers suggested the creation of a massive AI that would help in this effort. And so the construction and development of the Voyager Class AI was commissioned immediately. And in their processes, accidentally went well beyond what they were initially aiming for. Because mid development on the first model, the AI not only became self aware, it achieved sentience. However rather than treat this as a hostile encounter like most of the galaxy had for years, Freebirds Industries saw this as an opportunity. Who better to create the best AI and Droid Brain than an AI? So they worked side by side to create the few AI/Droid Brains that would be deployed to assist the relief efforts of Surric, Teyr, and Atin. However, one AI in particular, was slated for a different project, and so was named "Hope". Her fate is yet unknown, but it is known that she volunteered for the project when informed of its nature.
