STRENGTHS

• Smart Scope: When linked with a sufficiently advanced Droid or Armor System, the Vrotoa Industries "Red-Eye" Optic is able to make use of any on board targeting systems, optical systems, and more to become a highly advanced scope. The Operator is able to create a target picture within their H.U.D. for engaging targets while keeping themselves behind cover, and turns even a common pistol into a sniper accurate weapon system.

WEAKNESSES

• Stupid Scope: Without an advanced system to link with, the Vrotoa Industries "Red-Eye" Optic is nothing more than a Red Dot Sight. It has no magnification, or optical advantage. It has no special features beyond connecting with and utilizing external systems.

DESCRIPTION
The Vrotoa Industries "Red-Eye" Optic attachment was originally designed to work in unison with the Weapons, Armor Systems, and Droids created by the company itself. The concept of the Optic was rather straight forward. Many of the Company's Armor Systems and Droids are designed with on board weapons integrated directly into their systems which are always supported by advanced sensor packages, Optical enhancements, and targeting computers aiding their use. So, why not connect their hand held weapons to these systems as well?

The "Red-Eye" Optic does this via an Encrypted Comm-link system, incorporating itself into the targeting systems of the User, be it a Droid or Operator of an advanced enough Armor System. This does require some initial programming and synchronization, but, once paired with a host system, the weapon is just another tool in said Targeting System's arsenal. Taking full advantage of range finders, targeting computers, zoom functions while sighting down the weapon, and more. Additionally, with an advanced enough Armor System a User is able to create a target picture within their H.U.D, giving them the opportunity to engage targets around corners and from behind cover with limited exposure to return fire.

Small enough to be paired with most pistols though perfectly suited for rifles as well, the Vrotoa Industries "Red-Eye" Optic can dramatically increase the lethality of nearly any weapon system. Potentially skyrocketing the accuracy of a common pistol to near Sniper Rifle levels of precision. In the hands of most Combat Droids, aiming becomes intuitive and pin point accurate. With training, and the appropriate systems aiding them, even living soldiers can achieve incredible accuracy at extreme ranges with any weapon which has the ability to reach across a Battlefield.
