Description: The VT-722 Scoped Blaster Rifle/Sniper is a beast of a weapon. It was made as a sniper rifle that fires an ion blaster rifle shot, but it can in theory be deadly at point blank depending on where you shoot, and it can act almost like an anti-tank rifle if shot at a certain range. But it's strength wanes as the range gets longer and longer, therefore it's more and more avoidable. The VT-722 is pretty much a sniper with the worst beam length possible for it's type, hence the dual classing it would have.
Strengths: In some cases this weapon has been known to pierce and damage the heaviest of armors, and is a very powerful and effective weapon against most forms of personal armor, and even light vehicles. It acts like an Ion rifle. It could in theory kill someone in seconds. Under ideal conditions it could be effective against medium armored vehicles if targeted in the proper place.
Weaknesses: It has 6 shots. It's heavy. It takes 5 seconds to charge up a single shot. It is illegal to carry it in some areas due to it's sheer power and range combination. It's scope is somewhat limited. To kill a person in seconds, it needs to be point blank.
