BIOGRAPHY
Vyse was born heir to the once great House of Valorous. One of the great noble houses of Serenno, it once equaled any of them until the rule of Count Syenoe.
The worst ruler in the house's history, he cared nothing past his own debauchery. Leaving the actual ruling to his advisers. Corruption and intrigue quickly took the whole court as nobility abused and fought over their new powers, using them to rank up fill their own coffers and punish their rivals at the cost of House Valorous. Here Vyse grew up, in the sea of corruption and decadence. Here he grew to despise the nobility and his father in equal measure, as he was forced to watch as they destroyed and wasted away everything his family had built. Vyse was determined to burn away this infection and restore his house to glory.
He worked for many years to gain allies within the nobility. But they all saw him as merely the up and coming puppet. This effort was not all for nothing however. While he failed to gain the support the major nobles and their heirs, he found many servants and lesser nobles who despised the state of affairs, and even more who be willing to betray their masters for a bribe. With this he went to work. Starting up a spy network, he hide behind his more loyal followers and began to blackmail nobles into funding his operations. Always careful not to step on the wrong toes. For years as he slowly built up his spy network and resources. However, despite his new resources he was still unable to get enough support to fight the corruption of the nobility. As time went on, his house grew further and further into debt. Vyse grew desperate, he began to see no other option than to turn to his own rivals in order to save his house, his brothers.
All bastards born of his father's debauchery, they despised Vyse only as much as they despised each other. For if Vyse died, their father would pick one of them to be the heir. The rivalries were encouraged by their father, to try and keep them from uniting against him. However his manipulation would at times lead to them growing resentful of him. This gave Vyse the opening he needed. He approached his brothers one at a time, when their father had turned on them to encourage jealousy. He explained while they hated each other, if they did not unite to stop the corruption there be nothing but ruins to rule. Slowly, one by one they agreed. Once he had his brothers allies and resources, Vyse prepared his master stroke. Him and his brothers forces would force their father into a regency, and his advisers to step down. Vyse could finally burn away the corruption that has ruined his family's name. However, the nobility would never step down willing. It would need to be paid in blood.
After carefully readying their forces in secret, they launched their coup. Storming ancestral palace of their family with mercenaries and those loyal to them. It began well, and as the battle went on it seemed that while bloody, they would be the victors. However at the height of the battle, they were betrayed. Horus, their youngest brother. Knowing he would have no chance at the throne even if they won, had sold out his brothers to their father and turn his soldiers on his brothers. This slowed the attack and gave time for the loyalists reinforcements to join the battle, overwhelming their forces. Seeing the end was near, Vyse and his brothers abandoned their battle and attempted to flee. Thanks to his spy network, Vyse knew where exactly his fathers secret vault within the palace and more importantly, it’s code. So while his brothers attempted to flee from the palace, he went deeper. He fought a bloody path with his remaining soldiers to the vault, and found the family's personal BC-714 luxury transport and a great deal of stored funds.
While his men readied it for launch, he noticed a droid shaped figure under a sheet. Instantly knowing what it was, he uncovered it. He found his family's ancestral droid. The droid had been in the family almost since its founding, but was deactivated when it disagreed with his father one too many times. Immediately he ordered it onto the ship and they lunched off.
