Waking up in a new Galaxy!

Many things can be found in the vastness of space from the simplest to things so grand they boggle the mind. Lost somewhere in the vastness a ship, little more then space debris, drifted lost to the galaxy. Any whom found it might pass it up for simple junk and move on, but within the ship was a vast amount of tech, enough so that any whom ventured would make a huge sum of credits.People would not have to take more than six steps into the ship to find the first thing of value, 4 cryo-pods, 2 of which sat empty. As for the remaining two only one held a living occupant, a woman wearing a black jumpsuit, Her pod listed her name "Lt. A. Katar.". The room that held the pod seemed out of place for a hwk 290 freighter, like something that belonged on a war ship.

Across from the pods sat nine lockers, each bearing a name... but more importantly each had the Republic emblem under each name. But none would know this, for forty-four hundred years this ship and its cargo had remained unfound, untouched and somehow intact. It would drift forever more until the force allowed it to be found... when that would happen nobody could tell.

The woman looked out into into the void of darkspace, the only thing in sight was the two black holes parralel to each other. She can remember the fleet's trip between those as pirates made attempts. Even that day she found not just herself but those around her to be tried and tested. Even though Sanya would never wish to her people to be in that situations, she had to admit they had changed for the better. Now, now things where different, it was quiet, peaceful. Over all it was good.

The engines of the daynamic-class II turned on. It took a moment for them to run up to speed as she pushed on the throttle. Sanya's ears twitched as she could hear the faintest beep coming over the com. It soundrd like a distress from an old era ship. "This is Sanya to the libita. I've faintly picked up a distress on my com don't suppose you've picked anything up." She said using the long range channel to the fleet. "Nothing shows at our end malady. We will run a deep scan of you area now." "Copy that, I'll play metal detector till then. See if the distress reads better as I get closer." The channel closed and closed her eyes.

If anything could guide her the force could. It took along time, almost four hours since the first bleep, but she had found something. The ship looked derelict and old. "That's a long way out. I wonder What happened to it?" The woman muttered to herself bringing the ship closer. From scans there was a small current of electricity and most other systems seemed to appear offline. From her ship she couldn't entirely work out what worked. Sanya didn't even know it was safe. Pulling to the side the docking clamps locked onto the old ship. She'd stand and walk to her quarters to Equip the armor and collect a re-breather and cylinder before making her way to the hatch just left down the hallway. As Sanya pressed the door controls a long hiss of the pressurisation sustained out for a few seconds before it actually opened.

The inside was dark and she could barely make out anything. The woman would ignite her offhand saber illuminating the hallway magenta. Slowly Sanya advanced further in, her eyes looking around looking for anything or anyone that could tell her what happened. On her right she would notice Cryo pods two of them had been busted with the glassteel cracked or smashed. The other two was fine and one was in use. "Well her it goes." She said talking to herself pressing the controls to deactivate the pod to begin deactivation.

The pod churned and chimed as the systems came back to full power, which was simply a farce, the pod had already brought her cognitive functions back when the woman had entered her ship. she had tripped a fail-safe that was designed to protect Republic secrets. Step one: purge computers of all sensitive date, step two awaken any personal covertly. The systems had not cycled through completely but the woman had manually activated the pod, whom ever they were waking her up of their own volition. Ayhia opened her eyes thought their was not much to see, to much frost, darkness and condensation was on the glass still, but saw a single pink light in a straight line, something she was very familiar with... a lightsaber

"Great... i get found by a Sith...." Ayhia reached over to the Panic lever, which would dose her with a mental and physical stimulant. "Kriffing sith" Ayhia grinned to herself as she felt the stim hit her system, all the aches and grogginess from the cryo vanished instantly. The hood of the cryopod ejected outwards with enough force to break the bones of anyone caught in the way of it. As Ayhia followed the hood her suits Hud-visor deployed, covering the upper half of her face and feeding her info about her guest.
Race: Unknown
Gender: Female?
Weapons: Lightsaber(s)

"Krif." Ayhia muttered as she landed on the deck plating and rolled away from the intruder. As she completed the roll she pulled and activated her own lightsaber with a flourish that would cleave someone in twix. The pink and yellows lights of the two lightsabers combined into a almost warm orange glow, what would come next would be up to the intruder.

Sanya could barely make out movement inside as the frost was thick but the shadowy figures arms was noticeable. There was no knowing who was inside, there was no knowing what was inside either. Obviously sentient at least and hopefully in a decent condition to ask questions. The Door to the pod sprung open and a woman following with quick agile movements. The woman would have thought that the girl would probably be feeling nauseous or even finding her balance.

The actions of the woman in front of her had caught Sanya off guard. Especially now the yellow hue from the saber was in her hands. "You're a long way out in the galaxy." She said to try defuse the situation. "I'm not here to cause you harm okay. I picked up a fair distress and I'm can to investigate." Her voice was soft as her eyes kept a lock on the woman.

"My name is Sanya. Do you remember yours?" She asked knowing that some side effects of cryo was temporary memory loss. She'd deactivate her saber now that the woman's was emmiting light and also to show she wasn't here to kill, but she was ready to ignight the saber shield built into the forearm of her armor.

You're a long way out in the galaxy." The stranger spoke clearly in a calm clear voice "I'm not here to cause you harm okay. I picked up a fair distress and I'm can to investigate."
Ayhia had been ready for just about anything or so she thought, the only things that had followed her burst of actions where words followed by more words. She kept he gaze on the woman as her suit linked with the ship and brought the powers systems back on, it would be a minute or so before the ship came back to full power. But in the mean time Ayhia had to figure out what this woman wanted.
"My name is Sanya. Do you remember yours?"
Ayhia chuckled as the woman spoke again, "Who i am does not matter, you have boarded a Republic ship without permission i regret to inform you that you are under arrest as of right now. Do not resist or i use force..." Ayhia's tone of voice was very official with a threatening undertone. The woman had boarded a ship that was not suppose to exist, she was in a whole world of trouble and didn't even know it... or so she thought. Ayhia's chronometer updated with the ships systems, at first the thought it was a joke until the ships light flickered weakly to life. The cargo hold was in a disarray, more so then it usually was anyways, their was a thin layer of frost on everything. Ayhia frowned and glanced at the other pods, two were broken and empty, one completely shut down, Marion's desiccated corpse could be seen within. Before she could continue a noticed beeped into her visor, telling her that the third stage of the failsafe had gone active, drawing a sigh from Ayhia. "You have 10 minutes to explain exactly what your doing..." Ayhia's mind was racing while her free hand utilizing a virtual keyboard covertly, she was searching for a explanation to all the questions now arising from the situation.

Sanya gave the girl a concerning look. "I don't know how to put this but the Republic is gone. That time is just a bunch of stories and myths now. As for why i'm here I try to keep routes open for my people and those who aid Ancora. The faint distress signal I could hear made me come here to investigate. i generally thought this ship had been attacked by the Ta'jar Blood gang." Sanya explained as she could feel the cold creep into her armor. A quick shiver ran over her spine and along her tail that flickered side to side.

The woman pulled out a common data pad from a bag. "catch." She said throwing the equipment with an underarm swing. The thing was durable so she wasn't worried if it fell on the floor. "That should have information to help you understand the situation." Although what Sanya didn't know yet was which republic the woman was from. either way non of them existed right now.

"Come, your ship wont be going anywhere soon and its warmer on mine." She said turning her back to the woman and stepping into the small pressure chamber waiting for the woman. Sanya had no reason to hurt the woman or even take her prisoner. Something on the edge of her mind was simply saying this girl would need help.

"I don't know how to put this but the Republic is gone. That time is just a bunch of stories and myths now. As for why i'm here I try to keep routes open for my people and those who aid Ancora. Ayhia eyed the well armored girl as she spoke, most running possibility through her head, to many variables existed for her to plan for everything. She pursed her lips as the girl tossed a data pad at her, again a unknown model, she swiped the screen and checked the chronometer. It matched the ships chronometer. She didn't bother looking further, instead throwing it back at her and walking over to her locker, turning her lightsaber off as she did.
"Come, your ship wont be going anywhere soon and its warmer on mine."
The girl said as she moved to the airlock, Ayhia didn't pay her much mind for a few minutes, she was to numb. She spent a minute packing a rucksack with her belongings, the most interesting items where the final two the left the locker, one a very old looking slug revolver and the other a very large rifle. She slung the rifle and moved to the airlock with the revolver in hand. She didn't say anything until she was standing right in front of it. "You will need to tow my ship..." Ayhia started to feel the effects of the stims wearing off, which meant she was gonna need sleep and food. "Oh... I'm Lieutenant Ayhia Katar, 27th marine corp... well i guess not anymore..."

Sanya smiled at the girl with a small nod. "It's a pleasure to meet you miss Katar." She said as the doors shut and the small room pressurized onece more. Her hand would reach up taking off the rebreather from over her mouth. The door into her ship would finally open and the warmth washed over her instantly making her feel more relaxed. "Make your self comfortable. If you need a blanket or anything just ask."

The boots of the armor would clunk with each step as she walked into the ship. "Will be back in a few moments okay." Sanya said turning right towards her quarters. It took a couple of minutes for her to completely get her armor off and once again back into her comfortable clothes and even her circlet back upon her head. Before leaving the room she'd get a blanket just in case and her robe that was made to go with the clothes. It was thick and slightly heavy but warm. As she walked towards the central area of the ship she'd see the woman looking out of place, and out of time.

Ayhia kept silent as the room pressurized, she hadn't realized that she had been using breath control up till that point, which caused her to chuckle lightly. No matter how much she tried she could not escape the jedi training she had received, so many things she did were still so automatic. She closed her eyes and expanded herself out into the force, So much was the same yet different like a friend you had not seen in years. She sighed and opened her eyes, her thoughts returning to the moment at hand. Ayhia moved off to follow the woman as she lead the way though the ship, another unknown to her though it remind her of the old dynamic class. Somehow she got the feeling that very little would be the same, the girl had mentioned that the republic was simply story's and myth now.
Ayhia had stopped paying attention and had almost walked into the girl as she stopped, she scowled as the other girl told her to wait where she was. She was tempted to make a comment about having waited long enough but decided against it. She sighed and drew her revolver, the slugs inside it were most likely trash she would have to make new ones. She pulled the cylinder open and pulled the rounds out of it, She would have to fix that quickly she felt naked without a loaded gun.
Ayhia didn't look up as she hear the woman's foot steps, "What was your name again.."

Sanya watched the girl inspecting the weapon in her hands. The weapon reminded the woman of the pair Taneas had. Her eyes would look up to the woman's face as she spoke. "Sanya Val Swift." She said passing the woman a blanket. "I never asked but what was the last thing you remember and which republic did you belong to if you know?" Sanya asked unloading questions upon the woman. With a simple hand gesture shed wave her hand towards a comfy seat as if to say take a seat. "Caf or water?" she said asking a more simple question as she began to make herself a cup of caf. No doubt the fleet would try to make contact soon to make sure of Sanya's safety.

Although she wanted to wait on that in case the woman did become hostile taking her hostage or something. Even if the woman knew how to fly this ship shed not make it far. to her this region os space would be unknown and trying to jump beyond the limits of the hyperdrives ability would activate fail safe systems. Still Sanya had faith the woman wasn't going to be hostile at least not for now until more information comes to light. Grief was something anyone would go though after finding out everything you knew was all long almost forgotten history.

"I never asked but what was the last thing you remember and which republic did you belong to if you know?"
Ayhia frowned at the question she was at the point that she just wanted to be left alone but this girl had rescued her. "That a ill informed question, if the chrono is right then over 4400 years have passed for me." Ayhia looked up at the girl, her eyes hard but with a touch of sadness to them. "I don't know how many rises and falls their have been, from what i know it was the first real one... I grew up on stories of the Great sith war, my great grand father was a soldier in that war. I was working against the sith in my own time, the republic was on the verge of another war with the sith."
Ayhia chuckled and shook her head at the offer for a drink, she was still feeling out of place on a cushy ship like this. She sighed and looked around a bit, before clicking her tongue. Part of her visor deployed over her right eye and she connected to the holonet, she was quite glad that it was still around i bode a good start. she used her virtual key board to do some searches about the past, the girl had been right very little was known. She smiled and tapped into her suits archives, they were intact... meaning she was truly lost to the past, and nobody even knew whom she was. "i had a half sister..." Ayhia looked Sanya, "She was getting married when i got deployed against the sith, i may have... family..." The words were empty, they would have no idea whom she was even if they did exist.

The boiling water would pour into the cup with a cloud of steam rising. Her hand would open up as it moved in the direction of the blue milk that slowly drifted to her. As the woman made the drink shed listen to the woman. "That's a long time to be MIA, and there has been four republics to my knowledge. The old republic, the one you was part of. The galactic republic, the new republic then the galactic republic again I was part of the last when it fell. That name is like a bad omen." She said clarifying a little history. although Sanya couldn't begin to imagine that a future this girl may have ever imagined would just be history. With the cup in hand the woman walked to the seat sitting across from Ayhia.

She'd say something that made her feel sympathy for the girl. 4400 years was enough to wipe many blood lines out. In some way she hoped there may be someone related to the girl although it would be awkward to explain that she was someones long distant relative. "I can't say for sure, but I bet your sister had a grate life and lived it to the full." Sanya said to give Ayhia some peace of mind or even make her feel a bit more at ease. "I assume you have questions anyway."

Ayhia frowned at the girls words, four republics had risen and fallen since she had been gone, how does one react to that. she wanted to blame the jedi but knew better, a government didn't fall because of one faction inside of it... not usually anyways. She was deep in thought when a twig of pain brought her back to reality, the effects of the cryo were coming back.
She wondered if the Sanya was right about her half sister, had she had a good life? Ayhia shook her head trying to clear her mind, she couldn't even remember her sisters name anymore, either a side effect of cryo or perhaps she just didn't remember period. One thing she did remember though was the surname, Ho'ren. Ayhia picked herself up from the floor only to collapse, "I will take that water after all and I'm gonna need some food too..." Ayhia closed down her holo net transceiver, her visor retracted fully. "In a bit I'm gonna be a wreak... the stims are temporary... I will need sleep too..."
Ayhia hated showing weakness, but she was pretty sure that 4400 years in cryo was gonna have some really nasty side effects that had simply been shunted aside by the stims. A buzzing had filled her mind and her body felt like it was on fire, she was not going to last much longer in the waking world. She chuckled and looked at Sanya, "we...will.. talk more lat...er" Then darkness engulfed her and the deck plating rose to meet her.

Sanya watched the girl collapse as she tried to stand. In a quick rush shed put her drink down on the small table besides her and stands up. With a few steps shed be besides the girl kneeling at her side. Ayhia would speak but her voice sounded as if it was getting quieter. There was not much Sanya could do after all her body was adapting and starting back up after along time. Sanya slid her hands under the girls knee's and shoulders lifting her up as she stood. With slow movements the woman would go towards the spare room been careful not to knock Ayhia against anything. Gently shed set the woman down and pulled a blanket over her and even removing the woman's helmet setting it besides her.

As Sanya left the room shed dim the lights right down so they didn't effect the girls sleep then continued through the ship back into the room they where in before. The woman spent a little while cooking Buckwheat noodles it was simple to make and was able to be reheated later. Sanya filled a bowl then walked into the cockpit to sit in her seat. "This is Sanya, I've made contact with the vessel and rescued all living passengers. I will be making my way back to Ancora some point later today." she said then sent the voice message to fleet. The next few hours Sanya spent her time meditating routinely checking on the woman and making sure she was still alive.

Ayhia's slept far from soundly, her dreams were filled with visions of pain and sorrow. She didn't know how to react to anything she saw and didn't know if what she saw was real or not, but could not wake herself if she wanted to. She saw soldiers dying to people with lightsabers, white armored men whom where all the same fight droids with jedi at their sides and later turn on their jedi allies. Then a odd looking moon, a flash of light and the cry of billions of deaths all at once. Then starfighters... destroying that moon... one of the pilots a jedi?
"w..ke..u.."
The images kept repeating over and over again, she felt every dead as if it where her own. Each lightsaber cut, each blaster bolt connecting Ayhia felt them die. She tired to block them out, tired to escape the images but they only seemed to press harder against her mind. Like the buzzing of bees drowning out everything else.
"wa..ke...up.."
Ayhia curled up into herself no longer able to resist the torrent of emotion that was flooding her, how could she when she felt each death so vividly. She covered her ear in a fruitless attempt to shut out the sounds, nothing worked, why where they punishing her. She had no power over their lives and she had lost the ability to fight for anyone why she was lost to time. Ayhia drifted with here eyes closed and ears covered in the flashes of color for what seemed forever, until all of a sudden it grew quiet.
"Wake up, youngling."
It was quiet except a single voice, familiar yet not. Ayhia opened her eyes, a woman stood over her as would a mother to a sleeping child. They were surrounded by blackness and all was still and quiet save her own breath. "where am i?" Ayhia was shocked, the voice she heard was not her own but that of a childs. "whats going on..." Ayhia pushed herself from the ground only to find it soft and warm, she glanced down to find herself lying in a bed again familiar yet not.
"You were tossing in your sleep young one, but worry not even when time leaves you behind you will endure... i have seen it."
Ayhia opened her eyes only to see bare bulkhead above her, she was confused for a second before a dull ache reminded her. "right..." She sat up and rolled her shoulders, the pain was nowhere near what it should be... more so due to the time she had spent in cryo. She swung her legs out of the bed and gave all her limbs a good rub after which she stood up and went through some stretches.

Sanya Val Lerium

Sanya had just walked into the room as she saw the girl sat on the edge on of the bed. The pull if the force surrounded her like water during her rest. Yet the girl seemed restless as if she was thrashing about in it. The girl would awoke with a drawn expression. "Better?" She asked with a small forced smile. "There is water next to you if you need a drink."

Sanya wasn't sure what to say and really she couldn't understand what the woman was going through. "I'll warm your food up in a moment. It's nothing special. When we get to Ancora I can have my chefs cook you something up. I can even sort a room for you till you figure things out." As of yet they didn't know much of each other and right now Sanya didn't want to push.

As the girl walked in Ayhia finished her stretches when she turned to face her. "Thank you..." Ayhia picked up the glass and took a mouthful. She sighed and hit the release clasp on her suit. She walked let the armor fall to the floor as she moved to her rucksack, where she pulled out a set of non-combat clothes. Modesty was not something that the military cared for, so Ayhia didn't even think twice as she stood there completely nude. But as exotic as some might see it as her skin showed something completely different. Across her body where burns and scars all over, the largest being a large scar running across her back from her shoulder to hip.
Ayhia didn't respond to the girls comment for food right away, instead she got dressed before turning to her and speaking. "Chefs? what the hell are you royalty?" Ayhia yawned and sat down on the bed she had awoken in.

Sanya Val Lerium

Sanya didn't shield her eyes or even look away as the woman's armor fell. Instead her eyes examined all the scars no doubt caused by war. As she looked over the burn marks Sanya's hand would move to her own hip simply trailing across her own burn scar given to her before she became a knight, before she fell. Still it wasn't off putting, if anything it was concerning. Her mind ran across a possibility of how bad this woman's life was before, and how long she had endured the nightmare of warfare. Then it changed to the thought that she was been rude to look as the woman got dressed.

Either way it took a moment for the girls words to register. "You could say that. I mean the people of Ancora call me their queen and well I live in a building you'd consider royalty would live in. Although Queen is just one of many titles I hold, I'm just glad Jedi or Sith ain't either of those. Two extremes always destined to to destroy themselves." she said slightly talking about herself. Sanya always thought she was more than just her titles.

"You could say that. I mean the people of Ancora call me their queen and well I live in a building you'd consider royalty would live in. Although Queen is just one of many titles I hold, I'm just glad Jedi or Sith ain't either of those. Two extremes always destined to to destroy themselves."
Ayhia almost started laughing, the womans feelings about the Jedi and Sith was almost identical to Ayhia's though she had a few extra reasons. she studied the womans face and form, trying to figure out what she wanted, she must have had some reason to go off on her own to save Ayhia. Sanya's race was completely unknown to Ayhia, perhaps a Cathar hybrid, they were pleasing to the eye if nothing. Ayhia wondered where she herself should go now, she clicked her tongue against the top of her mouth.
"So the i take it the Jedi are still fools?" Ayhia said with a sly smile, "I don't believe you would talk of them that way otherwise or as a queen you see how misguided they are." Ayhia stood up walked up to the shorter girl. "So tell me something, why would the queen of a planet wander off the beaten path for a derelict, it could have been a trap. surly you know that." Ayhia tried not to judge her by her prejudges against royalty but found herself doing it anyways. "If your that important perhaps you should take more care, i could have been a sith or something worse." Ayhia wanted to know what her reasoning was, she owed the woman but she would not follow those whom did things without thought.

"I'd use a much harsher word that fools personally. Their nothing but cowards and schutta." Sanya scoffed an answer. "I talk about them that way because I was a Jedi once Its not because I'm a queen. I didn't appreciate or agree with the disillusioned outlook on life." The woman watched Ayhia walk up to her. Although after seeing her nude all thought's of intimidation would be near impossible. "Well its simple you could have been a Sith or a group of pirates but you're not. I am perfectly capable of defending myself, I've cut Jedi and Sith down, I've lead fleets that would crush an enemy,, I've fought besides loyal soldiers as we charged the front lines. so it's simple I tasted warfare well before I became Queen. I know sitting around and throwing words about achieves nothing most of the time, I would be that hands on approach type of person."

"As for why I came to find your ship is because your ship is in my space. That and I guess my Achilles heel is I like to help anyone." After all a lot of people on Ancora was still waiting for their homes to be built since relocating to the planet. In some ways Sanya missed Sekalus, but it was a reminder of her time been owned by a Sith and forced to do things she wished she hadn't. With a small smirk Sanya would turn around to walk through the ship. "I assume you are hungry still Miss Katar." She said not as a way to change subjects but as a duty of care. Ayhia was on her ship therefore right now Sanya felt responsible for her.
