They say there is a fine line between light and dark, right and wrong, and many other things which people have such elaborate and imaginative views on. Braith, over the course of history, had long stepped back and forth over that line, walked it, and was walking it rather gracefully still. She had no allegiance to the force, nor to either side of it - sides which she believed were whole and unified, not divided and inherently good or evil. It was the intent and the actions which decided those factors, not the power which was called upon. In recent days, however, she found herself less caring of the fight and the force and, really, power in general. She was in a happy relationship with a woman that - at least as far as Braith was concerned - turned heads for more reasons than her title as the Grand Master of the Jedi order.
Braith, of course, was essentially nobody. At least as far as history was concerned, at least.
It was just after dusk on the planet of Carida, a planet that was nearly twice the diameter of standard gravity planets and had an equally superior gravitational pull. Normal humans that arrived on the planet for their first visit without proper endurance training and muscle buildup found standing difficult, even Jedi who used the force to keep their composure required at least some training in the physical sense to withstand its weight. In fact, the latter was why Braith was here - not for her, belonging to a species which had evolved on a slightly larger planet, but for the hopeful that intended to become her apprentice, [member="Zerium Esther"]. The force would come to him, but so would his stamina and endurance to use it.
