- Appearance: Walter is a very tiny individual, standing just about a foot tall. He has a large fish like mouth, no hair, and two eye stalks. He moves around with his stubby little legs and uses his noodle like arms to manipulate the world around him. He needs and wears custom tailored clothes made for him given his very small stature.

- Wealth: Walter isn't and never really has been a very wealthy individual. Despite living on canto bight and working in a lavish casino for many years he was an indentured servant.

- Skills: Being a rather small and vulnerable individual Walter has had to compensate for his short comings by trying to use his knowledge and cunning speaking skills to get by. Some would even say that Walter is surprisingly charismatic. He is also a pretty talented slicer as well.
- Personality: Walter is a pretty optimistic and friendly individual even given the rough hand life has dealt him. Even over the years his cynicism has increased he still tends to see a good future for himself. However, he's not carefree as he knows where a carefree attitude could lead you.
- Weapon of Choice: After partnering up with Jorco he got himself a small EC-17 Hold-Out Blaster. Large enough for him to wield like a blaster rifle.
- Combat Function: For the most part Walter would be a liability for anyone that had to team up with him in a combat scenario. This is because of how easily he could get hurt during the chaos of a fight breaking out. If he were prepared however, he would probably have his EC-17 Hold-Out Blaster with him to defend himself with. But for him the weapon is simply two large for him to practically carry around all over the place. Instead he would be better off working with a partner or group trying to provide some kind of support to give his team the upper hand.
Walter has seen a lot in his humble life. One should not be fooled and underestimate his seemingly small and insignificant stature. With the name Walter Thompkins senior one might imagine him coming from a more affluent background. But that isn't really the case. His family the Thompkins for the longest time have had no notoriety at all. It wasn't until his grandfather smuggled his family into the casino city of Canto Bight that they began to make somewhat of a name for themselves. Walter's father was a simple shoe shiner for the wealthy individuals who came through the city while his mother worked in aiding a local tailor.
Walter tried his best to move up the social ladder by hanging around with more seedy groups within the casino city. However, what was considered seedy there was pretty mild compared to the rest of the galaxy. Eventually while working with the more less then upstanding individuals of the city he gained skills as a bit of a smooth talker and a slicer. Working as a pretty low time con man for quite a while, even after fathering a son of his own.
However, on one fateful day the bad influence he'd rubbed off on his son came to bite them back in the butt as his son, Walter Thompkins Jr. tried to steal from a casino. However, Walter Sr. managed to get his son out of the pretty bad pickle he got himself into. But there was catch to the negotiations for getting his son out of trouble, and that was Walter Sr. had to work as an indentured servant and pay off the amount his son stole and then some, and the casino officials weren't going to make it easy either.
But on another fateful day during a mission to Canto Bight, Walter and Jorco crossed paths, and the two quickly became friends that respected one another. While out on his mission to pull of a casino heist Jorco was able to snag Walter along with him so that he didn't need to spend the rest of his days as an indentured servant and instead work with Jorco. Where he could put more of his skills to work, and have freedom the city of Canto Bight could never offer.
