Wandering Ginza (Matsu x Matsu)

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
TATTOOINE

This a quite a fun place now, Matsu hadn't come here since she was younger and before the CIS came to clean it up. While she didn't always agree with something there was a sort of beauty to cleaning up a world and as Matsu walked in the black silk Kimono with snow covered mountains as the design and trees she let the sand crunch underfoot of the wooden geta. Her clothing was simple but hid the more important parts, namely her saber and the hidden blade of her parasol while she offered a bowed head. The open parasol over her head and behind to keep the sun off her pale skin.

Then there were a few people around her in the crowd as she moved through it carefully letting the force edge around her and herself through small pockets. She was going towards the cantina and slipped inside using one man as a shield as she closed the parasol and slid in under her arm. The blade remaining in place witha click until she sat down and smiled. The holopad for ordering activated and Matsu tapped ordering some juice and bits of food with the meager credits she had. Then offered another smile and nod of respect allowing her hair to frame her face.

Isley was keeping her very busy - she felt like she learned something, or a few somethings, every day and her powers were advancing the longer she remained among the CIS and under his tutelage. Although her personality and morals didn't match many that worked and lived in the Confederacy she believed in freedom at all costs, by any means.

But there had to be time for fun.

Matsu had found her way to the Confederacy merely by chance. It had been wandering that had brought her to its doors and it was wandering that motivated her that day on Tatooine. Given a brief reprieve from lessons she chose to do what she did best: explore. She'd been to so many planets she'd lost count, hitching rides and meeting other species, broadening her view of the galaxy. But now she traveled through CIS space, visiting its planets and learning more about the section of space she'd chosen to protect.

She slipped in to the cantina and out of the dry heat of the desert world, taking a quiet sigh of relief from escaping the sun. She wasn't one for extreme heat, but at least it wasn't humid on top of it. She snaked her way through the crowd, about to sit down when she caught sight of the inky black kimono splashed with mountain-top white. It was beautiful - (standing on top of the mountain, wind whipping her hair across her pale face, blood spattered almost artfully through the pure white snow, a small smile on her dark red lips) - and she couldn't help but drift closer to the woman, sliding herself on the seat next to her. "I'm sorry, I couldn't help but notice - that's beautiful," she said, nodding her head towards the flowing silk of the kimono. "I'm Matsu Xiangu," she said, offering her hand, revealing nails painted as red as her lips, long and sharp like daggers.

Matsu at first was concerned that someone had come so close and just sat down but then the woman spoke and complimented the kimono as she gave a bow of her head and a smile. "Thank you very much." And then she spoke and said her name Matsu Xiangu and for a moment Matsu just looked taking a fraction of a second. She had never actually met someone with her name before it wasn't something common or out there. The girl was young but not that young to be named after her. A point of pride to be sure but she could indulge a little in that. With a look through she spoke.

"And I am Matsu Ike." She kept her eyes trained on the woman while she sat in the seat and was sifting through the senses she had on the woman. She had the force that much was obvious but she also had skills in many things as the jedi master spoke more. "I fated meeting or by chance, there is something quit pleasant about you and you are very beautiful Matsu." Now it might be self indulgant but she motioned with a slender hand across the table and pushed the seat back with the force. "Please it is so rarely there are many Atrisians around the galaxy outside of the system."

Matsu was a strange creature, a ball of predatory and primal instincts more suited to one of a harder, less palatable upbringing. And yet there she was, offering her claws with a feral smile to accompany them. She was barely tame and she would most likely remain so her entire life - one moment from coming unhinged. So if [member="Matsu Ike"] was uncomfortable at all with her sudden proximity the girl would never be able to tell. She was too much an animal for social cues, only pretending to play the game well.

When the woman shared her name she let out a peal of laughter that seemed totally foreign in relation to her voice, the latter a thin-honey rasp while her laugh was the jingle of bells, clear and high. "Well this is a first - it's a pleasure to meet you Matsu, and my beauty pales in comparison to yours," she said, for once no hint of biting cruelty in her voice.

She took the proffered seat when Matsu pushed it back, sitting demurely so that the two might paint a picture of soft eloquence. She pulled one long finger down the menu of drinks, looking for something light and airy, picking some tea before sitting back and watching her acquaintance. "I'm originally from Corvanni VI, but my parents are both Atrisian," she offered, thinking of her home planet with a detached sensation that failed to surprise her. "What brings you to Tatooine?"

"I find myself with a great deal of free time to explore and there are many secrets in the galaxy." Taking in the entire scene for a moment the jedi master let her pupils dilate momentarily to take in the moment while she thought about all the things one could do. She was telling the truth, a half truth if anything but the beauty was in speaking plainly and focusing on all the honest parts. This young woman had more to her then met the eyes which was the same that the jedi master preferred. Her compliments being returned brougth a small smile of contentment while she thought of Hanna and would have to make way over to Hapes later on.

Then she took a fraction of a second to go over all the other things she could do on the planet. It wasn't always a bad idea to be unaccompanied, with the CIS she didn't fear things but keeping her presence low and avoiding large problems was better then creating ones. "I sadly do not my way around the planet, have you experience to find some of the old ruins in the caves?"

She would have laughed at the similarities between the two - though their was the distinct feel of the Light in her companion that this Matsu didn't share - if it weren't for the sudden prospect of exploring ruins and caves surrounding the area. That was right up her alley. It promised adventure, excitement, maybe 'treasure' in a myriad of forms. And a chance to keep practicing her skills. She was quickly becoming very adept with telekinesis and the only way to get better once it was learned was to practice. Patience was an odd quality in a Sith, and so was loyalty...

But no one ever said she was orthodox.

"I was outside before and I think I could find us some caves, as long as you have a way to get us there," she said, the natural inclination to be guarded about her things rearing its head. "Seems like they might go on for miles," she continued, her excitement obvious.

Matsu looked now with a smile, oh she had a way to get to the ruins and it wouldn't require a speeder. One of the fun things she had gotten was a nice vehicle from auction and made sure the military model was armed and ready. With a small nod towards the woman she spoke. "Oh I do have a way to get there, in style even and there is a great many things in the desert." A small chuckl brought her attention though while she rose up and stood there for a free moment. "To see a World in a Grain of Sand And a Heaven in a Wild Flower." Matsu spoke but she had learned much in that trip with Alli Wren... mostly she had learned to be patient.

Then she was moving and clasped her hands in front of her while the Kimono gleamed going through the crowd towards the exit and her ship. Her pocessions were protected but that didn't mean she wasn't going to take a few moments to show off. Her parasol and fans, the sabers and her disc blade, hair chop sticks and equipment would be needed more then likely. Hell knowing her she'd run across a lair of Krayt dragons and rancors just because the foce had a sense of humor and often times it was very cruel in its humor. That was enough for her while she walked and held a smile on her face. "There is much one can learn from the past and see how it has shaped the future. Every choice, every action forms something and in some cases brings those who woulodn't often work together or be around each other together."

Matsu, despite her sometimes selfish tendencies, was not necessarily a difficult personality to hang around with…as long as one was fine with spending time in the company of the mildly unhinged and deeply morally lacking. So when Matsu mentioned that the Force often brought together those who would usually never cross paths she almost smiled, wondering if the woman could read her mind. And if she could if she knew – or cared – about the things Matsu had done.

She followed the woman out, watching the mountains and snow move lightly with the fabric of the kimono wrapped around her newfound companion. Matsu kept no ties with her Atrisian roots not out of disrespect or disinterest, but merely because her parents had never shown much care for it and so neither had she. Watching the other Matsu now however…she wondered why it had taken her so long to see the beauty in kimonos. (And again, that smear of bright blood red against snow-capped mountains…)

When she saw the ride that [member="Matsu Ike"] had, a wicked smile curled her lips. “You weren’t kidding when you said it would be in style,” she murmured, practically purring as she moved to the passenger side of the vehicle. Sleek, powerful…oh yes, it would look good with the two of them riding under the blazing Tatooine suns, Matsu’s poetry (to see the world in a grain of sand…) floating in her ears.

Adventure, on.

Matsu looked up at the vehicle and gave a nod while she moved to the drivers side and put her parasol, the interlocked discblades and a pack full of notes and datapads. Climbing in she set herself as the door closed and waited a few moment until Matsu got into the jeep. Her hands going to the wheel as it started up and she looked in the mirror more for posterity then because she worried about something being there. The thoughts in her head focusing more on the force to find anything. The faintest hints of life could do as she eased her foot down on the gas and took off going towards the eastern dune sea. Plenty of things out there and her hand drifted across the controls.

Her smile remained and she didn't have to read mind (though it was somewhat a talent) to know she and Matsu were very different in many ways. Similar in some sure but different in how they might go about getting results. She suspected someone less jedi like in her thoughts and actions but still noble compared to many in the galaxy. She would offer some trust and she believed in the force guiding them together for a purpose to discover that.... They needed some good music from the holonet that would allow them to travel the desert... At least they weren't going to be chased and plunge off a cliff holding hands.... THat sounded like a cheesy movie or something.

"So do you know where any ruins are? Or should we search for the largest lifesign and hope one of the dragons are in some."

It seemed they were off as soon as she had placed Tianzun down with her companions' collection of things and Matsu couldn't help but allow a wolfish grin to melt on to her face. She would have thought this a strange place to find herself but Force knew she craved experience, and the company felt nice. The brutal heat of the desert felt like mere warmth in the blasting wind trailing through the windows, the inside of the jeep comfortable as the two sped along.

She stole a glance at the woman who, despite her newness, did not feel so much a stranger. There was a strange peace to her that Matsu found unfamiliar. She'd never met anyone who seemed so comfortable in the push and pull of the tides, moving with their ebb and flow as if the consequences of things could always be worked with. It was a foreign, if intriguing concept and Matsu brought her eyes forward again once Matsu spoke.

"I passed on to the north-east on my way in to the settlement, though I didn't feel any lifeforms quite that large," she said, her interest peaking at the thought of a dragon. She'd only heard tales of the legendary creatures and couldn't imagine truly seeing one.

Another few moments passed and Matsu was just about to speak up when she thought she felt..."Is that what you're talking about?" she asked over the hum of the desert's wind over the jeep's sides. There was a large and unmistakable presence in the Force but Matsu was not quite the discerning reader she assumed her new friend was - she'd just started this game, after all.

Matsu was listening and letting her senses flare as she heard Matsu.... then she focused, bringing her focus to try and find what she was looking at. What she was feeling and the jedi master noticed the sword she had placed down while her senses went towards the life force. Sifting and feeling it until she had a path and put her foot down more to speed up with a rev of the engine. "That is a beautiful sword Matsu, not many have blades of such craftsmenship." She was intrigued by it and checked the controls for a moment bringing up a small holodisplay. There could be a few things to do quite well and fighting a dragon The sword could come in handy with the right techniques if she got to a vital spot.

Then she had it and turned her eyes towards the distance as she focused on the force to enhance her senses... namely her sight to look further in the distance at what she was driving towards. The span of time for them to converse was decent enough and finally as the sun came overhead she could see it coming off the dunes and a canyon going down into a crater. Matsu brought her hand back as she touched the controls to the gun and a grin flashed on her face. "If it is needed, the gun is ready and better then mines until we get close enough for sabers or blades." Or force powers, she could snap freeze the dragon with alter environment. Vacate the air around the beast and try to put him down quickly.

She nodded when [member="Matsu Ike"] mentioned the sword. It was strange, to think that the man who created it for her was quickly fading from her path as quickly and fiercely as he'd entered it. It had, at first, seemed to make sense to follow him but...things were beginning to unravel. She nodded, letting the silent discomfort pass over her easily. It was no place for it, and she felt - for once - too much at peace to try and mull over that which troubled her. "It's gotten me out of several scrapes," she said, speaking only truth. She had to maintain her own particular fighting style as the blade was one-sided, a strange choice against such versatile weapons as lightsabers. But it was powerful against other opponents - and useful against creatures they might run in to along their way that day.

Their conversation flowed freely as the presence in the Force maintained itself, if anything growing more insistent. Matsu however, felt safe in her new friend's company. She may not have been quite as powerful yet in her use of their gift but she was creative and felt confident in being able to match Matsu's efforts.

She looked to the controls as Matsu's hand flowed over the pad, leaning forward and expecting it. She reached out tentatively, testing them out and pressing one control pad, the jeep shaking with the blast of the fire she'd inadvertently set off. A delighted laugh escaped her, her crimson lips once more pulling in to a smile. "Now I feel a bit more useful over here in the passenger seat," she offered, a wickedness curling at the ends of her lips.

Hahahaha yes that was the way to do it and seeing the canyon the jedi master brought the jeep into position while going over a dune then down. Winding through into the deeper sections of the canyon as she listened to Matsu and continued to marvel... enjoy the company. The trip had been on impulse and to get away but now it was going surprisingly in a fun direction. The small musings on it and the force brought her attention to the winding canyon as overhead it slowly got more narrow and they came out into a semi open area. The jedi master stopped for a moment and reached out with her senses to find what she could and grasped it.

She could feel the large beast and what felt like others as she turned and moved the stick to position the gun in the smaller section behind them. A fitting way to enjoy the cannon when they got in range of the beast but they'd have to lure it out first and Matsu was on the weapon systems. Which was good enough for now they really wanted to get the pearls, the bone and maybe some hide but then she stopped. Off in the distance was a small prefab outpost, quick to assemble walls for two buildings and the quarry. One of the greater krayt dragons chowing down on a person.

"Alright we have one, weapons are ready, try to not use up to much ammo."
