Public Wandering Sith

Location: Nar Shaddaa

Koyi is wandering the slums of Nar Shaddaa looking for anyway to get off of this planet. She's trying to hide her appearance with a cloak due to the black markings on her face that would cause most to either run or try to kill her. The twi'lek goes to a local dockyard to see if there's any ships she could "acquire" or persuade someone to get her out of here.

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
getting clearance codes to land didn't take as long as he would have thought, a small grumble would escape his throat letting the ship's autopilot make most of the movements for him. his eyes squinting as he tries to read the consol. with a raised and frustrated brow. the ship would make a landing, being a rather old and outdated ship. it was a Foray class Blockade runner ancient in its design, have been used as a main corvette line of ships for the Galactic republic some four thousand years ago

" Nar Shaddaa?, what in the name of the gods am I doing here. this isn't Kashyyyk?. i knew I should have just left this damned ship to rot on that planet."

pressing at the buttons on the panel he would growl in frustration, his vision was blurry, and it had only gotten worse every time he was put back into carbonite. how did he even expect to fly this ship. his pride had clouded his vision more than it already was it seemed. with a shall huff, he would make his way out of the ship. using the force to lead him up and out of the ship. he was here and already landed the very least he needed to pay for the space before trying to take off again.

Nearby on the landing pad, a young Chiss boy stood outside of a faded orange colored Limulus-class courier. He smacked one of the side panels, trying hard to open it and inspect one of the ships engines.
"Come on you hunk'o'junk! You can't die on me now, not here..."
The boy looked around the landing pad, deciding whether he should go find a bar or try to bum a ride off of the Smuggler's Moon.
"Bar it is."

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
he would flick his lone ear softly and glance towards the sound of the male smacking on the side of a ship's hull. the sound was rather loud least compared to him anyways. with a small grumble, he would make his way in that direction confusing them for the dock worker

" excuse me sir, are you who I see in order to pay for the landing space I'm currently occupying?. iv made a wrong turn somewhere and I must be taking off here soon. just wanting to pay for the space so I can get work done to my ship"

his eyes multicolored eyes would scan over the male's face with a slight squint that could be mistaken for a narrowed gaze. it had been years since he had been out of carbonite. and it would take some time for him to be able to see properly through the force more effectively

“Uh, no. Not me.”
The young man stared up at the being before him, horror and wonder flickering in his eyes.
"You gotta pay that Gamorrean fellow down the way there. He's one of the Hutts' guys."
He pointed his left arm down the landing pad, never looking away from the seemingly intense gaze of the Dragon.
"Nobody wants to be here long."
A nervous smile appeared on the boys' face as he chuckled.

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
he would slowly follow the direction the boy was pointing at giving a rather clearly obvious squint now. a light grumble escaping his maw, a soft blue glow rolling over his eyes. seeing through the force. the light blue effect adding almost as quickly as it appeared causing a grunt to roll out of his mouth. Before moving in that direction - rather awkwardly like someone who had their eyes closed-. stumbling lightly as he gives a soft wave their way

"much-appreciated lad, do take care this place is not well suited for those of our nature"

his left hand would fall to rest upon the pommel of his sword. or what was left of a sword. sure there was a hilt pommel and a partial blade but nothing else more then that

The boys' eyes widened as if struck by sudden realization.
Y-Your eyes!"
He clapped his hands over his mouth, not meaning to be so loud.
"Are you.. Can you.. Can you see?"
The boy rubbed a jagged looking scar beneath his left eye and awkwardly stumbled over his next words.
"I, uh- didn't mean that in a bad way. Like, I'm not making fun of you or anything like that."
He smiled nervously again and scratched the back of his head.

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
he would turn to look down at the boy, standing roughly at 2.3 meters[ 7'8] a small chuckle escaping his throat as he looks around softly with a light squint

"I can see, at least not in the conventual sense, my vision has long since blurred over the years, yes but through the force many things are possible"

shifting his weight from one side to the next he would shake his head gently gripping the bridge of his nose with a light groan.

" it will just take me some time to readjust, your words have made no ill regards boy"

with a small chuckle, he would look to the orange ship he was closest to before glancing at him again

"It sounded like you were having ship problems when I arrived unless I'm mistaken?"

"My fore and starboard shields are malfunctioning so one of the engines got screwed up during my last hyperspace jump."
The boy, standing at five-and-a-half feet tall, stared up at the man and grinned.
"The Force, huh? I've been looking for somewhere to learn about it. I just haven't been sure where to look so I've been drifting around the galaxy. Not a lot of people are willing to talk about it though, some claiming it to be plain superstition..."

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
he would give a soft chuckle their way his arms crossing over his chest before softly nodding and looking around to his left his eyes flashing the blue once again drawing out a visible twice before he grips and rubs at his eyes. He then points towards a ship on the far side of the landing platform

" I arrived in that ancient relic. I must have entered an automatic destination on accident because I am way far off from where I need to be,
I was supposed to meet an individual on Kashyyyk and instead here I am on Nar shaddaa. as for the jedi being near superstition I couldn't give you an answer to that. then again iv been in carbonite for the last five thousand years or so"

he would give a soft frown as he thinks back on his current situation

"THAT thing? That thing belongs in a museum! Though from you've told me, it sounds like you do too!"
He laughed heartily and smiled.
"I bet she's reliable though. Say, I was gonna try and find someone to barter with for parts or try to find someone to hitch a ride with. If I strike out, any chance i can piggyback with you to Kashyyk? I wont interfere with your business or anything. And I'm not entirely sure that my ship is down for the count."

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
he would give a laugh at the boy's mention of the ship's age causing him to shake his head, nodding softly at their words

" well, then I suppose it's the perfect ship for me, a relic for a relic."

Perking his lone ear he would glance down to the boy then back to his ship, giving him a light shrug his way and a small nod.

" I don't see why you shouldn't be able to tag along, besides it might be good to have someone who can actually see the damned console on board."

"Thank you, I really appreciate it! And I'm not too shabby at piloting and tinkering with machinery. I'm Jacen by the way, Jacen Law."
The boy smiled and extended his right hand out and up slightly to shake the hand of his new acquaintance.

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
he would squint, taking notice of the movement but taking him a while to identify what it was, and with a light chuckle his scaled hand would reach out, grabbing the boys firmly and shaking his hand

"Laphisto Div'atori Gix, a pleasure to make your acquaintance, I heard you mention earlier about wanting to learn about the force? what interest could you have in such a thing if I may ask?"

the Draconian Esque male would tilt the right side of his head towards him as a ship flys overhead, causing a small growled grunt to roll off his throat.

Even with his eyes in the condition they're in, Laphisto would be able to see a saddened look spread across Jacen's face for a few moments.
"I-I... Well, I guess you don't know, huh? While you were in carbonite, Csilla was ransacked and the Chiss people nearly eradicated... Just prior to that, an Inquisitor lead a unit of soldiers to murder my family after I tapped into the Force. An Inquisitor is like, well I don't know. Not a Jedi but not always a Sith. They're corrupted, that's the most of it... My-My family was butchered and I was rescued by some random Jedi. The previous owner of my hunk'o'junk here."
Jacen sighed raggedly and tried to wipe away a tear without being noticed.
"I don't want to be overcome by anger and vengeance but... But, I feel I must avenge my family."

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
he would listen intently to the boys giving a small grunt as he crouches down some what, placing a hand upon his shoulder and giving a light understanding nod their way.

" I am very sorry to hear of your family, and your history with the sith, or er dark Jedi? if that is still even the proper term for them nowadays. there are many ways to avenge one's family, killing those who have done you wrong will only fill that void for a limited time, especially if you let that be the only thing that drives you. I'm sure the Jedi on Kashyyyk could always train you. that is if you want to be a Jedi."

he would give a light smile his way trying to reassure the boy somewhat, giving him this life option if he so desired. then again laphisto wasn't even a Jedi, not anymore anyway.

Jacen remained silent for a few moments, thinking about everything before responding.
"A Jedi... I think I would like that but my connection with the Force is shotty at best. And I need a master to train me, right? I can't just teach myself to be a Jedi. Every temple I've come across has either been abandoned or was inaccessible."
Jacen sighed again.
"And I'm afraid that becoming a Jedi is the first step to becoming just like the person who killed my family."

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
he would stand back up lightly gripping his chin in thought as he spoke, giving a firm nod there way

" aye the Jedi have left many temples around the galaxy abandoned" he would frown and furrow his brow, whispering lightly to himself " like the one they left me in" shaking his head he would continue to speak " I myself am not a Jedi, least not anymore I was stripped of my title, millennia ago, I can help teach you how to use the force, yes, but I cannot make you Jedi."

thinking for a moment he would grip his chin lightly as he tried to think.

"From what I understand the current warring factions you technically have two choices, this new Jedi order or the grey Jedi concordat. each faction has their differences yes but both consider themselves Jedi in one way or another."

Koyi saw the two and an idea sparked in her head. She slowly walked up, trying to keep her cloak from flying off and stopped just short of them

"I couldn't help but ease drop on your little conversation here...I heard something about the force and jedi. You know you must be careful on Nar Shaddaa, folks here aren't very keen on those who are connected to the force."
