Alora built her own business from the ground up. Its inception had been small with ferrying goods to and fro Mandalore, but when the Sith moved in all that came to a screeching halt. Cut off from everyone and everything she knew, the young Mandalorian plied her skills to odd jobs around the Galactic Core. Every spare credits was poured into outfitting her ship with the latest and craziest of gear to take over ever more outrageous jobs to earn more credits, and so on and so forth.
In time, Alora built a small bay on her ship to construct a limited supply of high-end cybernetics that she sold on the road between jobs. Holonet ads went out and soon the enterprising bud leased a storefront on Coruscant -- a frequent layover -- to house and move product. From there she modestly expanded to ensure the quality of product never fell short of the reputation as providing choice equipment.
Another small shop popped up on Denon, but shortly thereafter Alora heard about Mandalorians on Hefi and set out to join them. A new shop was setup out there to help the people on the Rim; which most lacked the finances for her normal stuff, the government had credits and a host of needs. So Alora expanded her repertoire a bit to include machines and electronics for homes, weapons, vehicles, ships, and everything else. Having retrofitted her entire corvette, Alora even had some feedback on ship design -- though Wanderlust Wares didn't have massive factories or shipping lanes to more so much product.
You can always trust any gear with the Wanderlust seal of approval will stand the test of time! It might also empty your bank account, but only because the materials themselves cost so much. Alora's profit margin is relatively low for such high-end goods; she makes plenty of credits still doing odd-jobs so helping out those in need as she runs about the galaxy brings a smile to her face.
RATIONALE
Alora built the company from the ground up on a busted up corvette that she would later retrofit in every way possible. The Mechanics Bay and Cybernetics Lab became hubs of designing and building a limit supply of goods, which she sold while on the road doing odd-jobs. From there little whispers on the holonet garnered increasing attention for the quality of gear (and its associated cost being worth it). A shop on Coruscant helped house more product -- freeing up space on her ship -- and provide a larger workspace, which contributed to the growth of the company. Alora still does a lot of work on her ship, but she has a few people tending the shops that have contributed to the product lineup here or there as well.
