Wanted: Help

[Clovis Torcularis]

My character just loves to make things, but some things are just beyond his capabilities for now.

So I'm looking for a writer/character who is an Alchemist to help me build a ring that can enhance my character's Dark Side energies. I will be doing most of the leg work, just need someone to help me, and maybe teach me a thing or two along the way*.

For the efforts of helping me, I will pledge to help do a development thread, character development thread, or a shoot-the-poodoo thread (social thread) with you. I'm a strong believer in helping those that help me.

If more people want to join along, that's fine. Just know my focus will be on that ring.


*I'm aware at my current rank such knowledge of Alchemy would be hard for my character to comprehend, but building a foundation is the best way to start.

Hmm, don't have any living characters to suit. As a plot device you can assume you were given, picked up, looted, killed or fought for one of Raien's Holocrons. He made several over the years! I'd say his knowledge of alchemy was middling so there might be someone more suited! Most of his work was on mental technique or emotional manipulation, in regards alchemy he'd use that as a driving motivator to create something.

I could bring my priestess with you if you like.

That would be most welcoming. It could benefit me to have a priestess come along. I don't want to loot, be given, or kill for one. I like the idea of picking one up (through a great storyline), or fighting some usurper who has taken one of your:

This sounds interesting! This character is trying to learn the arts of Alchemy as well. She's made one ring, but she's still pretty fresh. Could help each other out if you want.

Ameli's goal in this would be to make a similar ring. Whether we make two of the same or she makes her own variant is totally up to you. I'm pretty easy to work with.

If either of you feel like that doesn't fit the story, no problem! Don't want to crash the party.

More the merrier! Though beyond 3 I always recommend a loose posting order following clovis for example, and you moving it on every few days so it doesn't stall [member="Clovis Torcularis"]

4+ Have a tendency to stall unless assisted.

For the holocron sure, what Raien did was visit old sith ruins and temples of famous dead lords, and bring back his experiences to record them in holocrons, mostly focusing on his mental or emotional state. To make a holocron of rage for example, fear, pain, pride, etc. He then spun off works of these into alchemy holocrons or projects, we could go for one of the more specific alchemy ones to fit your idea.
