As the Military-Industrial Complex of the Sith Empire grew, so too did its technological advancements and improvements to existing vehicles of war. While the Parang-type Light Repulsorlift was a versatile and reliable infantry-support transport, there was research into improving upon the design for the era after the collapse of the Galactic Alliance.
The Warblade-type Repulsorlift Tank was the next technological step in the Empire's tank design.
Outfitted with a wider arrange of more powerful weapon systems as opposed to the Parang, the Warblade stood to serve as the main-line repulsortank across the Empire's many fronts. What made it truly distinct was its capacity to be modified into several pre-determined variants, such as artillery, anti-air, and anti-tank. This versatility made it an invaluable asset to the Sith Legion as it moved to carry out the Empire's expansionist policies.
