Modularity - The AFPP-1 is designed to encourage personlisation to accommodate the varied and demanding nature of Draelvasier fighting mentality. Key locations have flush or inline inputs where additional armour segments may be added to modify the armour to a particular combat style. For example, inline inputs located at the top of the forearm bracer and the bottom of the shoulder pad allow Warlocks to sacrifice the bicep mobility section for added armour.
Water-Cooled - Inside the torso section is a small semi-sentient organism that secretes a cold fluid when its body temperature goes beyond a certain point. This fluid is circulated around the entire torso section to cool the Aeravalin wearer when operating in warm climates
STRENGTHS
Energy Resistance - Aeravalin flesh is critically vulnerable to heat. The AFPP-1 is primarily comprised of Er'gerak, a common aerospace alloy designed to withstand the high-energy stresses of dogfights, fleet battles and atmospheric entry. Reinforced by Verikast, another common alloy often used in the construction of troop armour
Comparitively Light - Compared to the suits worn by their Baedurin and Sraelvun cousins, the Warlock's armour is built for mobility, without sacrificing too much protection. Allowing for the high-intensity acrobatics they're fond of
Lightsaber Resistance - High density and hyper-dispersion are both properties that lend themselves to lightsaber resistance. This armour is expecting to see engagement with Jedi and Sith warriors alike and can hold its own against concerted lightsaber strikes.
WEAKNESSES
Mobility Points - To maximise wearer agility, the AFPP-1 is divided with multiple mobility points. Otherwise known as weak points to the rest of the galaxy
Conditional Density - Er'gerak is constructed and exported from Draemidus Prime, where gravity is intense. This means that when transported off-world, it' metal lattice expands slightly, reducing density. The kinetic resistance of the armour is weakest in vacuum, and strongest under heavy gravity. Its strength depends on the planet
Cooling Unit - The large breast and backplate structure accommodates a small temperature regulator organism. If an Aeravalin loses this unit while in a particularly warm climate, his strength and cognitive function can be impaired as heat weighs on their body and mind. This area is therefore the most heavily armoured and will take a beating before it is critically damaged
DESCRIPTION
The standard issue Warlock armour for the Warlocks of the Bryn'adul. This armour is primarily built of an aerospace alloy known as Er'gerak, reinfoced by the heavier Verikast. Er'gerak is an anti-energy, anti-kinetic alloy designed to allow the war-machines of the Bryn'adul to withstand the massive stresses involved in conquest of the galaxy, while also being light enough for the vehicles its used on to remain structurally viable (although this parameter doesn't apply to things like drop pods).
The armour keep the wearer heavily protected from the troubles of front-line warfare. Its hyper-dispersion properties dissipate concentrated deliveries of energy, keeping the heat-vulnerable flesh underneath from melting like butter (a common ailment of the Aeravalin). The armour is segmented with multiple mobility points to ensure the Warlocks can still flip, roll, sprint and handstand over the corpses of the myriad alien species they encounter. These mobility points, along with many other areas of the platform, come with inputs that allow creative or otherwise combat inclined Warlocks to insert additional plates, affording them higher protection at the cost of agility.
