These desert planets sucks, more led since she has cbynertics and getting sand on them was a pain...espcially since it was her arms that were cybernetic. But however these places held a odd interest, maybe it was the cantina or meeting the odd folks you'd find wandering these seedy places

She fucked into the cantina, she was armored up fully her visor looked side to side before she started for a back table, her sabers jingles on her sides, her sword slacking as she took the sheath off and sat it by her as she sat down.

Her hands reached to her helmet as she clicked off the locks and opened it allowing her lekku free as she put the helmet by her, she ordered a simple ale and waited a a she looked about the place seeing what figures would come up

Sand was coarse, grainy, and with a habit of getting right into joints. On a human body this was a mere annoyance, but for the fully armored Clarke, this was actually somewhat detrimental. Sure, for the most part it was a mere annoyance, but it meant more cleaning and more work to make sure her armor wasn't scraped apart by the annoyance.

Still, it was worth coming here, she had learned. The annoyance of sand in all the little bits of her armor hadn't prevented her from learning quite a bit about the, lower end of society in the galaxy. Though distasteful, it had been worthwhile to understand the less tasteful members of society. Especially considering her 'quest', if you wouldn't mind the term, to learn of herself and the remainder of the galaxy. It was definitely worth it, though, for the looks she had upon entering a cantina.

Such a strange word, fitting for the strange congregation of people. All heads turned to the sound of her metal boots, as the fully armored individual entered. With a sword on her hip, and her red cape a bit tossed by the wind outside, she hardly looked like the usual sort of space wanderer. She didn't even look like a woman while fully armored, especially since the helmet held her short hair in check.

Walking past the staring individuals, she took her seat in a booth well removed from everyone she could manage. She'd hate to have to handle the situation if one of them taunted her. She didn't order anything right away, wanting first to take a moment to rest. She stayed fully armored, with her sword propped up against her seat.

Now there was a interesting person, like right out of a old story fully armored with a sword and cape flowing, star was very curious about this individual. She looked around seeing the staring faces that seemed to look away and go back to their drinks, she figured she might as well go and visit her

She picked her sword up as she stood putting her helmet beneath her arm, she walked over as she bowed her head and spoke

is the seat across from you taken?

"Hardly. Feel free." Even though the woman's voice coming from her helmet was muffled, it was still clear she herself was a soft spoken individual. More curious, perhaps, was the accent, not so thick as to obscure the words but enough to sound not unlike a twi'lek herself. The joys of being bilingual, she supposed. Wouldn't be all too bad, she supposed, if that didn't seem to only make her 'exotic' for whatever reason, despite the commonality of twi'leks in general.

Deciding it rude to keep her helmet on, Aya finally removed it, letting her brown hair fall and rest surprisingly well despite being stuck in a helmet for lords know how long. She offered a polite smile to [member="Stardust Raxis"], as she sat up a small bit. "I apologize for my appearance, I wasn't quite expecting a chat."

She bowed her head as she sat down, she laid her blade on her lap as she got adjusted and comfortable, she listened to that accent she had and got even more curious, definitely one she hadn't heard before, this person seemed to be more and more interesting

Once the woman had spoke about her appearance star couldn't help but chuckle as she waved her hand before she spoke herself

the armor doesn't matter as you can see in armored up myself so no shame in it, I'm fact the armor is more of a conversation starter for me along side your blade

She said with a kind polite smile

"Even so, I'd have much preferred to be in more, casual clothing than my suit of armor. 'Tis often a sign of aggression, to be fully armored. Still, if you aren't put on edge by it, I suppose there's little harm in it." She smiled lightly as she was told the armor and blade was more of a conversation starter. Was that a compliment? She supposed so, though she had to order a glass of wine before she could continue the conversation. In this way, no one was interrupting.

"I take it you are curious, no? Certainly at least regarding design if nothing else. I've had more than my fair share of persons confused as to why and how my attire came to be. A fair number have laughed, too, though I cannot particularly blame their reasons." Mostly, she mused to herself, in regards to blasters. Nasty things.

[member="Stardust Raxis"]

curious? Very much so, little confused as the style and such but I have found in my times of battle that different armors yield different advantages, the one thing that has my curiosity is your blade for one

She said as she pointed to the blade, the server came over with some wine and served it as she gave a smile and waited, her own shethaed blade came up to show it off

Aya smiled a bit and picked up her sword, showing the sheathed blade to her. "The weapon of a knight. Nothing fancy, and entirely practical. There's little to waste. Though I've found most people believe it to be a one handed weapon, quite absurd if you ask me." She chuckled, placing the weapon back down. "It's hard to explain, it seems, how a weapon such as this was meant to be used."

[member="Stardust Raxis"]

[member="Aya Clarke"]

She looked at it and nodded her head, she gave a chuckle as she nodded, she blade looked heavy for sure she could see why some would be confused on it

in all my time I've used different weapons, lightsabers, this sword here blasters lots and lots some I can't even remembered

She said as she placed a saber on the table to show it

one of my main weapons aside my blade definitely helps me out a lot very versitile...you said weapon of a knight...now as I know a knight is a jedi or neatrul person they usually have a saber so...do tell

Aya Clarke

Lady Clarke, Saint of the Crimson Eagle
"A knigh.." She hummed, thinking over her words. "It's.. not the same for us as it is for you. I come from Aelozath, a world where jedi and sith alike are disliked, and for many centuries we were left alone. To us a knight is simply a noble and a soldier with support and strength. A knight swears their loyalty to a liege, who in turn swears loyalty to the monarch of their kingdom. When we're knighted, we receive a suit of armor, and a blade. Blasters and slugthrowers are expressly forbidden on the planet, as they lack honor, so a blade is a very useful weapon."

She sipped the wine served and hummed quietly. That would work for explaination, yes?

[member="Stardust Raxis"]

Stardust rubbed her chin fascinated, a planet without blasters and slugthrowers, one where people used only swords...

fascinating and your people have done this for centuries? In these ears of such advance tech that is ever growing . Certainly you have my interest greatly, I mean I've never heard of such planet nor have I encountered one of your people save for you now. So tell me...why does your people despise jedi and sith? I mean both are...well both are great evils in their own way that need balance every so often

"Where Jedi walk, Sith follow after. And so too does war." She sighed a bit, holding the cup of wine with both hands as she thought quietly. War. "Pointless war, in fact. Not a war of necessity, but of dogmas. Where innocents will die by the thousands to fuel their own fears and beliefs. Neither is innocent, and both are guilty. Though despise is a strong word, we do not ban them from our planet nor do we attack them on sight. We simply, watch them closely. We might have more animosity to them, but such is the case when you watch their endless cycle of war and death."

[member="Aya Clarke"]

Stardust sat back, the woman had a good point, to those who were not familiar with the sith and jedi the war more then likely seemed pointless. To star who rested in the middle it was a battle for balance that she force constantly had, each side needed to be kept in check

hmmm I can understand the meaning in your words, I can say I've fought on both sides before...one wants to do what the other does, that is get rid of the other but in the process that damn themselves

Aya Clarke

Lady Clarke, Saint of the Crimson Eagle
"There are ways around war, solutions that would help to satisfy want without needless death. Both are too blind to see the cost of their ideals." She sighed and placed down the cup, rubbing her forehead gently. She hadn't expected, nor wanted, to think too hard on war. It hardly helped when her own people had faced such darkness so recently with four hundred years of it. "Aelozians are well aware of the cost of war. It is why we have banned blasters and slugthrowers, they make it too.. easy. It's better this way."

[member="Stardust Raxis"]

[member="Aya Clarke"]
She could sense The girls discomfort on the subject of war, she gave a frown and gently pushed a calming feeling onto her as she took a sip of her drink before she spoke

I understand both sides, I really can't say I'm in the good I have been on both sides at least some time in my life. It's true what you say both are blind and wish to eliminate the other side...

She thought om how the universe would be if blasters and slugthrowers were banned, it would definitely be a odd thing but yet people could only fight for so long before each side would get tired...plus people wouldn't die well...quickly

Aya Clarke

Lady Clarke, Saint of the Crimson Eagle
It seemed what feelings Aya held over the subject were deeply ingrained. What effect the calming attempt by [member="Stardust Raxis"] only seemed to slightly relax her body, though her face showed no less discomfort. She sipped another bit of the drink, placing it back down on the table. "But, there is little worth in wallowing in the past. We learn, we grow, and we continue forward. Such is the way things ought to be." She attempted to put the subject down, at least until she was more, prepared, to deal with it, and sat up straighter.

"Forgive me, I haven't introduced myself. I am Ser Aya Clarke, knight of Kalis." She politely, and a bit awkwardly, held out a hand to the twi'lek across from her. No matter how many times she did this, handshakes were still so awkward for her. Downside to a very traditional lifestyle, she supposed. The ones who lived in the city or spaceport most likely had more experience with this sort of thing.

well put in words friend

Stardust said with a kind smile on her face, seemed this person truly did not like the sith nor jedi, and stardust wouldn't say any more sometimes others didn't trust either side it happens.

and neither have I how rude of me, queen stardust rider, queen of imahalyan

She figured if titles were being used it was appropriate to use her own, she shook the hand of [member="Aya Clarke"] and gave a firm hand shake with a smile. Her hand would probably feel odd due to being cybernetic with synth skin

Aya Clarke

Lady Clarke, Saint of the Crimson Eagle
Not that Aya could tell, as her own arm was covered in thick durasteel. She shook the Queen's hand, and offered a bow of her head. "The pleasure is mine, your highness." She immediately seemed more comfortable, addressing her as a queen. [member="Stardust Raxis"] and her nature as a Queen was something she could at least understand.

"A queen.. shall I assume Imahalyan is your planet, or is it just the kingdom? I've come to find the distinction is quite rare in the galaxy."

[member="Aya Clarke"]

it is a planet, I've notice a big difference in your culture and well I guess galaxy wide yours is...well from what I've seen very old type though pleasant to see

She said in a respectful tone, she had to say she was very interesting, one being she looked like no other and had a weapon that was different and the accent that still got her slightly

tell me a bit of this planet you are born on, certainly I must visit when I get the chance to

Aya Clarke

Lady Clarke, Saint of the Crimson Eagle
"Aelozath is.. well it's a beautiful world. We are not ruled by a single kingdom, but rather each kingdom rules over their own lands in relative peace. The largest of the kingdoms is Kalis, who rules the land holding the only spaceport. Inside the port itself blasters are simply restricted, we do not permit the selling of them. However to leave the walls of the port city, all blasters and slug throwers are left behind. We are ruled by the monarch, who rules as the collective will of the people, with near unlimited power. They are, effectively, a liege with the support of the kingdom itself, rather than simply the support of lieges or knights or sarifs, the common folk that is."

Aya hummed a bit, and smiled at [member="Stardust Raxis"]. "Perhaps you would like to be more specific on what you wish to learn? There is much I could tell but I know not what it is you are interested in."
