NAME: ARC-6552ALIASES: 'WATCHER', 'DESERT FOX'
SPECIES: HUMAN
AGE: ADULT
GENDER: MALE
HEIGHT: SIX FOOT
SKIN: DEATHLY PALE
EYES: PALE GREY
FORCE SENSITIVE: NEGATIVE
EMPLOYER: N/A
JOB: ADVANCED RECON COMMANDO (FORMER)
[+] Much like his brethren, Watcher was once part of the elite unit of clones known as Advanced Recon Commandos; trained in all manners of combat, subterfuge, special operations, assassination and vehicle operation; all mentored under the considered 'best' military experts at the time. Bred and raised with one specific purpose in mind; that being the elimination of the Jedi, it's fair to say that Watcher is a considerable opponent on the battlefield even by today's standards.
[+] Being quite a unique fruit from the basket of cloned soldiers, Watcher was always one for studying and watching everything and anything; whilst this may seem a rather insignificant; with a whole life spent watching and studying opponents and outside cultures, people and everything else in between, it's fair to say that Watcher holds a vast wealth of knowledge within his mind regarding a broad range of topics.
[-] As is not surprising, Watcher is not one to make fast judgement or take to brash action. He will instead skulk his prey; watching their movements, interactions and sense of tactical movements, finding the weaknesses to exploit before finally making his move. This can naturally take a long time and typically Watcher does not have a sense of urgency, believing that these things take time and patience for a reason. This can not only be conflicting with some but can and will likely keep people who are already in danger hanging by a thread by his slow and methodical approach to situations. The only exceptions that he will take for choosing hurry over patience are if those he considers family are threatened.
[-] Of course, being a dead man brought back to life, the process wasn't exactly perfect. Whilst it seems his memory and sense of personality was kept intact, it was instead his physical form that took a brunt in the form of 'mutations'. When unmasked and his body is brought to the spotlight, it's not exactly subtle that he's returned from his vacation in the land of lost souls. Furthermore, with the process being done through the Dark Side of the Force, his body is quite literally bustling with its influence which in turn can influence his judgement and actions, provided he doesn't keep it in check; it also makes Light Side force abilities used against him hurt a hell of a lot more, as to be expected.
[-] Prior to his death, Watcher was not only a terrorist but considered a ruthless psychopath with no sense of restraint. With the condition never really being looked into, it persists even today, perhaps at a more deteriorated state what with the inclusion of Dark Side energies. Whilst this doesn't make him a mindless beast, when tensions start to rise and blood starts to boil, there's no real telling just what length he'll go to before he returns to a calm state once again. This of course can be remedied and whilst he once had good intentions at heart, it will no doubt take time and care to bring the former man back onto the right path once more.
[-] With his life having ended just over eight centuries ago, a lot has changed since he was among the living. Whilst his recap of the events of history and the situation now were cut short, it leaves him at the disadvantage of being nothing more than a lost soul in the sea of unknowns. This, naturally, puts him in a position that can easily be taken advantage of by figures of importance that he trusts.
Through the eyes of a Clawbird.
The Clone Wars brought upon the rise of the greatest clone army ever known in history, the Fett Clone armies of the Galactic Republic. Batches of thousands upon thousands were produced, trained and pumped out onto the battlefield to die in droves against the ever increasing Droid Army and their allies. Whilst the Clone Wars was a bloody conflict, it was not one without stories of heroism and names that would go down in history; for right or wrong reasons. Upon Kamino, within one of the growing vats of the newly formed Advanced Recon Commandos, one out of the sea of identical faces would grow up with the designation of ARC-6552. Like all of his brothers, the clone was extremely capable, proving himself time and time again as the flash training and simulations were placed against him and his fellow trainees. Whilst their personalities formed in quite literally and easily identifiable ways, ARC-6552 was a lot more subtle in his hand, his approach; he was not one to bull-rush into the china shop, more so find the weak supports and bring the whole display down in just two simple strikes. It was this that garnered the nickname 'Watcher' by his peers, a name that would stick, even years later.
Whilst not his original unit, Watcher was reassigned to Clawbird after serving with his previous unit through several major deployments. It was with Clawbird, however, that Watcher came to know a wide range of ARCs with a wide range of personalities; from the charismatic and competent Aay'han to the more cynical Doubles. Their personalities perhaps did not mesh most of the time but, when it came down to it, Clawbird became something of a family through the course of the Clone Wars; a family that, mission after mission, proved themselves not only to the eyes of their superiors but to each other. From trials by fire on the battlefield to cloak and dagger behind the scenes, Clawbird became something of a household name within the military circles of the time, something akin to heroes.
As the war drew to its end, Clawbird started taking on individual missions rather than ones as a whole unit. As they split up to handle their individually assigned tasks, Watcher was assigned to a far off corner in the galaxy alongside Jedi Knight Alyva Terrek, who had become somewhat of a close friend to Watcher. Together, alongside the 221st Desert Foxes, something more or less akin to a reconnaissance unit, modeled off the mannerisms of their Commander, Watcher himself, the 221st went about the Galaxy in search for CIS remnants and locations of interest, even being requested on personal assignments to find tombs and relics of old.
This blissful existence was not to last, however. As Order 66 was carried out across the Galaxy, clones plunging the swords into the backs of their Jedi commanders and friends, the 221st was under no exception. Watcher, however, refused the order, his connection with the Jedi far stronger than that with the orders and the superiors within the Republic. In defense of his friend, he cut down those clones that attempted to carry out their mission, he and the now wounded Jedi disappeared under a raging sandstorm and went into hiding. Over the next few years, Watcher's anger and sense of betrayal ate away at him like a venom. As the years went by, Alyva hid under the nose of the Galactic Empire on Tatooine, safeguarded by none other than Watcher, who had since earned the nickname of the 'Desert Fox' for his acts of terror sprawling across the dunes. Garrisons were butchered, traders murdered and their goods taken; everything was done in the name of survival and in order to keep his increasing anger and hatred from spreading to Alyva.
Eventually, the two managed to travel off world and went their separate ways after a time. With Watcher now a wanted criminal by the Empire, it was no doubt that sooner or later the fox would slip up. He eventually did, being cornered on Hoth and cornered by squads of Imperials. A fight he put up, like a demon but ultimately it was not enough to save him. Watcher was confirmed dead within the snow, buried by the blizzard that rolled in upon his death. His legacy, from hero to fallen angel, was to be reduced to ash by the Empire and what remained was to rot and forgotten about in the new age of peace and prosperity under the rule of the Emperor...
...Except, centuries later, what was forgotten about was soon dug up from the snow.
A Sith, quite adamant about his studies into the matters of the past, sought out the fallen soldier and recovered his frozen body from the ice and snow that had formed as a protective layer. Whilst his legacy had rotted away, his body had been kept preserved, waiting. As the Sith worked on reviving the fallen soldier, his success came with some slights. Not everything was perfect but as the Sith channeled his knowledge and his power into the frozen corpse, what was dead was brought back to the land of the living. Asleep in a frozen cocoon, Watcher found himself in a new age and a new lease of 'life', even if the experience felt out-of-touch and surreal. Whilst that feeling never shifted, it was clear that the Sith saw nothing more in the corpse he had just raised as a collectors item, a walking meat puppet of the past for him to show off as his fancy new toy to his subordinates.
Confusion quickly turned to anger. Anger quickly led to the risen entity turning against its resurrector. A shame that the Sith, as skilled as he was, found himself defenseless and surprised that what should have been an obedient slave had been quick to turn upon the one that he really should have been thanking. In any event, Watcher was alive in a new age and isolated; no contacts to run to, no sense of ties or favors to call with anyone. He was isolated, alone and as cold inside as the ices that had kept him preserved upon the frozen wastes. Taking the Sith's ship, it seemed as if the dead man walking was to become nothing more than a nomad among the stars, truly lost in both spirit, goal and sense of worth. It's rumored to this day that he's still out there; a lost soul, desperate to find home, reconcile with family...
If they even existed anymore.
