• Description: Waterdogs are an amphibious reptomammal with purple scales and a boxy head with a pair of eyes with a black iris. They have six legs with clawed, three toed feet, a flat tail for swimming, and a powerful jaw with chisel-like teeth. The creatures are fairly squatty, and long tongued.

Waterdogs have been a common companion species on Yurb for as long as can be remembered. While often a handful, these creature are lovable, and have canine-like temperaments. While they are common, waterdogs can be a handful at times, particularly as they require rocks as part of their diet for minerals.
