She is very fickle, her mind is ever changing and shifting focuses. Waverly is generally liked and has a pleasant, social personality that people find charming. HISTORY:
Waverly grew up in one of the wealthiest families on Dargul, daughter to the Earl and Countess of Upton Heights. Her father's family made their fortune on Umgul, likely gambling. The family keeps up appearances by stating that their riches come from their business in the textile trade. They currently reside at the famed Upton Abbey.
Waverly had a lonely childhood, raised by her nanny and the other servants of Upton Abbey. She rarely saw her parents, and was overlooked when her brother was born, as he would become the future heir. She longed for their attention and love, but was usually appeased by gifts of clothing, jewelry or money. As a result, she has a need to be around people, to be accepted and adored; otherwise her world comes crumbling down.
She also has developed the habit of soothing her troubles with material things, many of her belongings have a sad memory associated with them. While she may appear to be carefree and aloof, she is a very lonely person. Waverly knows a great many people, but has very few that would be considered friends. It’s difficult for her to distinguish between someone that genuinely likes her and someone that is just after the benefits of staying close to her.
Her family has high hopes that she will marry within the year, and constantly sets her up on blind dates per their favorite match-maker. While Waverly does want to help fulfill this wish for her parents, she is highly skeptical of finding love through arranged marriage. Waverly was the star of a reality HoloNet show produced by Bright Star that detailed her dating life. The reception of the show was mixed, as Waverly failed to choose a bachelor at the end of the series.
The Dane family has been the target of abductions in the past, by criminals hoping to receive high ransoms. There have not been any successful attempts to date, when it comes to their security, the Danes spare no expense. For this reason, Waverly generally travels with a body guard (Kallum Wynn), even as a chaperone on her dates.
Waverly has launched her own clothing line and opened an upscale boutique Coterie Couture. She frequents many of the industry's top fashion shows.
