Starting out as Easy Pickings, a salvage company, they became affiliated with junk arms and ship manufacturers who always bought their salvage leading into a blossoming partnership between various firms. Due to their low cost materials and production enterprises, the firms found pretty easy success selling cheap blasters and freighters to anyone who would buy them, earning them a lot of revenue that they all combined to form Wayfarer Systems. Or Wayfarer for simplicity. The company had gone through a few changes in management and mergers before becoming the company it is now. Breaking into other industries that made them a prime choice for private and public entities alike. They became a notable vehicle, weapon, and ship dealer before incorporating smaller droid repair and production facilities to break into robotics and electronics.
RATIONALE
Fizz was one of the early founders of Easy Pickings and was responsible for establishing partnerships and relationships with his eventual fellow coworkers. With a knack for both networking and engineering skill, Fizz seemed the easy choice to be the company's CEO but he turned down the offer as he was not ready for the responsibility and led projects with his trusted partners. Wayferer's boost in sales can be attributed to his negotiating skills and approachable attitude. Even being able to rub shoulders with a few Hutts before having to terminate his relationship after they got caught for sentient trafficking. Wayfarer had almost fallen out of favor with the outer rim and earned some bad press due to their Hutt associations before the previous CEO quit. Fizz decided to take over the helm and cut off all his association with the Hutts and made a public display on the Holonet. Even going as far as to support law enforcement and smugglers undermining the Hutts.
