SPECIAL FEATURES​

The weapon is known to enhance its user’s spatial awareness, ranging from astrogation, navigation, and danger sense.

Strengths:

• Can be activated in the Force, to provide protection to the user
• Can be enhanced and used as a focus of the Force, similar to a Forcesaber/Force enhanced weapon

Weaknesses:

• Is a spear, and in order to be used properly needs to be expanded to its full length
• Can not cut through metal
• Besides strength against lightsabers, no extensive offensive abilities.

DESCRIPTION​

Constructed on Corellia, some time before space travel, the Wayfinder Spear was used by the ancestors of the Starchaser line. This weapon was used as a Force Weapon, and was used to defend sailing vessels from foes in Corellia’s early days. As time progressed, the weapon had found itself in the hands of visiting Jal Shey, and the weapon was enhanced to bond with its user. Inlaid with kyber crystals and Corellian steel, the weapon is able to link to someone of the Starchaser lineage. As the Starchaser clan was still planetside, the weapon was imbued to work as a Force enhanced weapon, to counter the coming of Forcesabers. As the weapon passed hands through more Starchasers, the weapon began to take on traits of the clan, including enhancing navigation and astrogation.
