Kat sighed, she didn't know what she was doing. She had spent a while now just lost and without much purpose. Not wishing to stick with the Galactic Alliance, seeing how successful her niece was becoming as a Jedi. It was seeding the doubts of her abilities and what purpose she was really seeking out in the galaxy. Kat was proud that her niece was demonstrating the strength of the Decoria family name, representing the best in their family. However, it only made her own mother highlight the flaws that Kat had. Being basically single while only getting older, failing as a business owner as well as a healer. Making no progress as a Jedi to become a Master.

It was infuriating to read the messages since it just showed how much her mother enjoyed to critique her and nitpick Kat's life. Nothing Kat did was good enough. Especially in comparison to Rose and Lily. Hell, her mother broke generations of naming tradition when it came to naming Kat when she was a baby.

She was just glad that her father had been kinder, had made an effort. But he wasn't here and she just had to keep dealing with her mother alone since her sister just could never understand.

Kat was sitting on her ship in the pilot seat, reading the update messages from her mother and sighing deeply. Then an alert came in. A new message, from Allyson. An invitation to her place on Jutrand. Kat blinked and responded with she would be there soon. Before flicking her ship into life and set in the coordinates for Jutrand. Kat needed warmth, and comfort, a sensation she only felt when spending time with Allyson.

Arriving outside the apartment, Kat had made sure she looked good for when she entered the apartment, not wanting to disappoint Allyson like looking miserable or an emotional wreck. That wasn't what she wanted to do. Breathing in deeply, Kat knocked on the door with a smirk on her lips. Waiting for Allyson to open up and let her in.
