Now, people of normal intellect might sort this out anyway. But I am not very bright and need to know what goes.

So since Weiss is a Lt according to the first link he is in charge of a platoon 36 units.

But according to alvas submission he is in charge of 300 units with vehicles and stuff to go with it.
Which one should I go with?

Not all companies follow the same standards. Neither do all regiments.

IC, one could simply be the organizational structure of all the Stormtroopers under General A's command, and the other could be the organizational structure of all the Stormtroopers under General B's command.

This gives individual writers the OOC freedom to pick and choose their own structure for their own units based on what feels appropriate for them.
