We See Further

The world of Eclipstica was dark, but warm considering it was almost always eclipsed by the moon. Romeo considered this home, this was where he found peace, this is where people wanted him to be around, and so he stuck to the throne. Recently, though, his eyes and ears had brought him ancient technology, something so old it should not even work, but it did.

A spy ray.

Back during the Old Repubic era, these were used to spy on solar systems across the galaxy, Romeo believed this would come in handy, and thus began prep work to get it to one hundred percent working condition. He had left the Dark Jedi Order, feeling it was time he embraced the true darkness that lay within him. Through all this, someone had followed from the Dark Jedi Oder, @Zetha.

"Tell me, Zetha." He said as they walked through the corridors of the Shadow Keep. "Do you still keep in touch with the Crimson Lotus?"

The girl next to [member="Romeo Sin"] was different than the one he met all that time ago. She had grown; stronger, harder, maybe even colder. She had aged too, with her lekku now extending past her chest, curving slightly around her breasts. Her right arm was gone, now replaced with a mechanical one. That however, as well as her whole body, was covered in a dark black cloak. Underneath her cloak, she could feel a round metal cylinder tapping on her leg as she walked. It whispered to her dark words and memories from those whose lives it had taken.

"No, master." She didn't walk directly beside him, but a step behind.

Romeo touched the ring piercing his lip as they walked, his thoughts crawling and twisting as he listened to her speak. She was stronger, much stronger. He was proud of her. "Good, we have things those...zealots are not to be trusted." He stopped, removing his fingers from his lips. "You understand, my heritage is Sith, and thus I have begun to accept it as a factor in my life. I have taken my mantle, but I will not join the Sith cults running around with their grotesque concepts of the Force and the galactic order."

"Yes, sir. I understand." Her voice had a cold harshness to it. Something that said she had disconnected herself from the world a while ago. Her last battle had taken a lot of things from her. Her arm, a romance. It wasn't like the young man died, but he had changed too. He no longer cared for a relationship with her, and maybe she didn't care either. Her friends had moved on, focusing on spoiling a new girl, fawning over her and giving her all her attention. Zetha didn't much care. Things were too different now for her to be the jealous type. She needed something to bring her back to life, but she wasn't sure what that was. Or if she should even be revived.

He turned to look at her, "Become stronger through this trial. do not fear, but show no mercy. Learn all you can, thirst for knowledge, and you will be rewarded." Romeo looked her in the eyes. "You need but only passion, not love. I learned that the hard way, and you will to if you do not side step off this path." Moving closer to her, he smiled at her. "Come I must show you something!"

Romeo suddenly turning to face her took her by surprise and she took a step back. His words echoed through her head. Become stronger...show no mercy...thirst for knowledge. Him saying all these things didn't make much sense. "I don't think I understand? I thought I was stronger. And merciless, I mean," she paused, raising her right hand. "I let my arm be ripped off in order to defeat a warlord." Her master took another step closer and she found herself taking a step back. She nodded slightly, forcing herself to relax. Quickly, she sent the Force into his mind, doing a quick scan of his thoughts, but like usual, his mind was sealed tightly.

"I'll follow where you lead, master."

Romeo smiled once more before turning. "The point is to never stop. Keep moving forward, there is always room to improve even the smallest things." His cape fluttered as he turned around quickly, and started walking once more towards the spy ray. His eyes studied the walls that held the roof up, the darkness gently engulfing the castle was small but very much there. "Listen carefully, I do not mock you, or batter you're accomplishments. You have come far, and shown more strength and will power than most under my liege. I trust you completely, and faithfully."

Zetha followed tightly behind him, bowing her head slightly to stare at the ground as he talked. "Of course, master. And I suppose only you will help me grow stronger?" When her master began complementing her, Zetha stopped and bowed. "Thank you, master. It is true that I am definitely stronger than I was when i left the Jedi, but I want more." She straightened up and lifted her right hand, clenching it into a fist as the light reflected off the metal. "I lost too much a moon ago. Life has taken away from me, left me with irreversible damage." Without lowering her hand, her violet eyes flicked up to stare into her master's red ones. "I need you."

Romeo stopped to listen to Zetha, something blinked in his mind as she spoke, something a little like him was inside her, always needing more. "I will make you stronger...I will break you, and put the pieces back together stronger than ever before." Her last words confused him some. "You need me?" His hands crossed his chest in brainstorming. "What do you mean my apprentice?"

She nodded, taking a step closer to him. She lifted her left hand, placing the warm copper of her palm onto his cheek, brushing his hair back slightly. "I meant what I said. You know of my past, running from the Jedi Order, finding and losing love all too soon." She gave a cold, humourless laugh and lowered her hand. "I don't know who I am. I don't know what makes me, me. All I know is my name and the voice of the Force."

She moved closer, lifting her flesh and bone hand yet again to run her fingers through her master's hair. This was an intimate moment, yet it wasn't meant to be romantic of any sorts. "I mean, I need a place where I can belong. A place that won't abandon me to the rancor pits. I need acceptance."

As her hand touched his face, his skin rose in excitement. It was not everyday he allowed someone to directly touch him. Still, this was okay. Her words dug deep into his heart as he continued to keep his eyes locked with hers. "My Zetha, you are second to none here, and you belong here." As she played with his hair, he turned his head slightly. "You will figure out who you are, one way, or another.

My Zetha. Those words shocked her and comforted her at the same time. She lowered her hand and nodded. "Thank you, master. I can assure myself that you will help me." She straightened up a little, a gleam of new determination in her eyes. "Master, is there a way I can grow stronger in my connection to the Force?"

The Sith rubbed his cheek, still feeling the warmth of her touch as he almost did not hear her words. "There are many ways, all of them I suggest you practice. With that said, there is a natural connection, a Force bond, that can only come with time, and time spent well between master and apprentice. These bonds happen on their own, though, I do not believe you can force such things...though I do wonder if a long period of torture could cause such a thing..." Sin removed his hand, and looked back at Zetha.

Yes, he did believe that pain could cause such a thing to become reality, but I figured it was probably better to not attempt to force a bond between one another. The Force would create one when it was ready, or better yet, when they were ready.

"A Force bond?" Zetha took a half step back, curiosity filling her eyes. "Master, are you saying you...want to Force bond with me? You really mean that?" Of course it would be a natural process, formed over time, but when Lord Sin started talking about torture as a way of bringing it out, Zetha didn't give the reaction most people would at the thought of being tortured. "Master," she paused to gather her thoughts. "What torture can you do that will hurt me? I've already lost my arm, my lover. I don't think I'll be broken by this."

Sin bit his lip ring in pondering if she had ever really felt the culling voice of the Darkside, but this only made him smirk to himself. "I promise you, Zetha, you know nothing...yet." Heat rose from his finger tips as he gently touched her own cheek. "There is much you still have to learn...I will break you....and when I am done...you will thank me for every bit of it...this will need to be..intimate, though."

He touched her cheek and she immediately felt a spark of excitement run through her veins. His fingers were warm, a calming yet passionate warmth that seemed to spread from her cheek to her whole body. Even her metal arm felt heated under his touch. So this was the power of a Sith? This was the fire of her master? She had a strong, and probably true feeling, that she had not felt the full extent of him.

I will break you.

Those words caused her to pull away sharply as if she had been stung, breaking the connection of their flesh. She had been through pain. Agony. All of it most recent. Yet his words struck her in a place that caused her to bite on her lip with concern. Her voice trembled, a fact that she cursed herself for. It showed weakness. She had to show her new master she wasn't weak. Especially with everything that had happened. "H-how intimate?"

Romeo turned to continue walking down the hall without answering her. There was no point in answering the question. She knew what she needed, and soon she would find her answer. "Zetha, I need you to send word to all the base camps on the planet. Inform them that I need ten of their best men sent here. While [member="Aedan Miles"] has the Drakons I will need a new elite solider." He smirked to himself. He would break her, then recreate her.

And he ignored her question. It wasn't really that big of an issue. What was she going to do? Throw a hissy fit and go on a tantrum induced rampage? Give her more credit than that. She isn't a youngling. Instead, she focused on his command. "Consider it done, master." She continued to follow him, but she made a mental note to contact the camps when she was dismissed for the day.
